Waterfront Landscape Design For Campus In Cold Regions Based On Landscape Vitality Improvement

In recent years,with the gradual development of higher education and the increasing number of people in higher education,the construction of waterfront landscapes in university campuses has stagnated,especially in cold areas.Affected by the cold climate,the construction of waterfront landscapes has become a prominent problem,with serious homogenization and homogenization of landscapes and a lack of landscape vitality,which cannot meet the growing landscape needs of teachers and students in schools,The current situation of the waterfront landscape in cold campuses urgently needs to be addressed.This study first reviewed literature related to the vitality of campus waterfront landscapes,organized the research progress of domestic and foreign scholars,clarified the concepts of campus waterfront landscapes,landscape vitality,and other related theories,and provided a theoretical basis for enhancing the design of campus waterfront landscape vitality in cold regions.By summarizing the indicator factors of landscape vitality in literature and combining with the actual situation of waterfront landscapes in cold regions,four primary indicator elements of nature,space,facilities,and culture,as well as 21 secondary elements contained therein,were selected to form a landscape vitality research system.Four university campus waterfront landscapes were selected within the cold region,and through field research,multi-source data Three research methods of questionnaire survey were used to analyze the current situation of campus waterfront landscape in cold regions,and to summarize the existing problems of campus waterfront landscape.Based on comprehensive theoretical research,problem summary,and case analysis,propose strategies to enhance the vitality of waterfront landscapes in cold campuses from four aspects:nature,space,facilities,and humanities.Finally,an example of landscape vitality enhancement strategy is applied to the improvement design of the seawater department of Qiqihar Medical College,and the waterfront landscape of the campus is designed and explained in depth from the aspects of overall design,functional zoning,and special design.This study summarized the development status of the campus waterfront landscape in cold regions,proposed the design strategy of the campus waterfront landscape in cold regions,provided a certain theoretical reference for the research on the vitality of the campus waterfront landscape in cold regions,enriched the research theory of landscape architecture,provided ideas for the design of the campus waterfront landscape in cold regions,and also had a certain reference value for other campus waterfront landscape.
