The essential principle of "quality first" is championed by Made in China 2025 and mandates that quality construction should be a continuous process throughout the manufacturing process,thereby significantly enhancing the quality of enterprises.The foundation of quality is the enhancement of quality management capabilities of enterprises.Technology and management are the "two wings" to guarantee the quality of enterprises.Among them,production technology is the hard foundation and management idea is the soft support.The traditional manufacturing industry must revolutionize its management concept,refine its management system,enhance its management mode,and bolster quality management and service in an all-encompassing manner to transition from "manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing".At present,many manufacturing enterprises quality management systems and methods.However,it is a key challenge for manufacturing enterprises to master the key factors in the management link,do a good job in the cause analysis,how to find the rules and anomalies of each link of production,and how to obtain the optimization insights.It is also an opportunity for manufacturing to deliver more precise,advanced processes and better quality products.Therefore,applying quality management means and methods to production will become an important starting point for the future development of manufacturing enterprises.Bringing more accurate processes and better products to manufacturing represents the arrival of a new revolution in manufacturing.The research object of this paper is the application of production line quality management,and the enterprise quality planning method,quality objectives,and quality management process standards are determined.Research tools such as 8D problem solving and fishbone analysis diagram were used.By analyzing the status quo and causes of an iron and steel enterprise,the causes of quality defects are found.Finally,find out the quality problem behind it.LD production line of H Steel Company is designed and manufactured by Siemens,Germany.It is an advanced production line with highly automated equipment.The enterprise’s galvanized products have been a success in recent years,supplying Haier,Gree,Midea,and other household appliance businesses.However,the quality management system is far from perfect,the staff’s awareness of quality management is inadequate,and the process control ability is inadequate;this has caused quality defects to frequently arise,thus becoming an issue that impedes product quality improvement.This paper establishes the staff post growth points management system,improves the quality management system and optimizes the quality process to solve the quality management problems of LD production line.It also proposes to carry out diversified quality activities,introduce strategic management mode and management informatization,and improve 6S management.Finally,in the aspect of analysis and evaluation,through the quality process capability index analysis and core index analysis and comparison,it proves that the optimized scheme and measures are effective in improving product quality.
