Research On The Evaluation And Renewal Of Resilient Communities In Cities In The Post Epidemic Era

As the main carrier of people’s social life,community is not only the forefront of epidemic prevention work,but also an important factor related to the stable development of the country and the smooth operation of cities.At the beginning of 2020,the global outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic has brought serious impact and new challenges to community safety.In the face of this sudden disaster,the community bears the responsibility of blocking the spread of viruses and ensuring the safety of residents.Against the backdrop of repeated outbreaks of the epidemic,people are paying more attention to the safety of their homes and placing higher demands on community development.Therefore,this article takes the epidemic as the background and based on resilience related theories,conducts research on the current situation of epidemic prevention in urban communities,constructs a community epidemic prevention resilience evaluation system,evaluates the Jiagang community in Zhengzhou,and proposes community renewal strategies to enhance the epidemic prevention capacity of the community,in order to promote sustainable development of the community’s living environment.First,it analyzed the impact of the COVID-19 on people’s lives and the role of the community in the prevention and control of the epidemic.At the same time,it selected several representative communities in Zhengzhou to conduct research,and investigated the epidemic prevention status of the community in terms of entrances and exits,wall boundaries,internal and external roads,building clusters,logistics distribution,public space,parking space,social services,etc,Analyze the problems that exist in the community’s epidemic prevention process and the reasons for the problems.Secondly,based on the theory of resilience and the current situation of community epidemic prevention,an evaluation system for epidemic prevention resilience is constructed from five dimensions of community physical boundaries,traffic flow lines,material supply,supporting spaces,and social governance.Analytic Hierarchy Process and expert scoring methods are used to select evaluation indicators and determine the weights of each indicator,forming an evaluation system consisting of 1 target layer,5 criteria layers,and 17 indicators.The evaluation system was used to evaluate the epidemic prevention resilience of the Jiagang community,and the results showed that the community’s epidemic prevention resilience was at a medium to low level.The comprehensive epidemic prevention resilience index of the community was 45.56%,the physical boundary resilience index was 52.74%,the traffic flow resilience index was 54.31%,the material supply resilience index was 22.70%,the supporting space resilience index was 34.37%,and the social governance resilience index was 63.78%,The corresponding evaluation levels are "medium","medium","medium","poor","poor",and "good".Then,based on the research of communities under the epidemic and the evaluation results of community epidemic prevention resilience,an updated strategy to enhance urban community epidemic prevention resilience in the post epidemic era is proposed,and some strategies are applied to specific case designs to further demonstrate the feasibility of the strategy.The main achievements of this study are:(1)Exploring the historical background of community epidemic prevention and the role of communities in epidemic prevention;(2)Investigated the current situation of epidemic prevention in urban communities in Zhengzhou and the needs of community residents during the epidemic,and analyzed the problems and causes of community epidemic prevention;(3)We have constructed an evaluation system for community epidemic prevention resilience,selected evaluation indicators that affect community epidemic prevention,and determined the weights of each indicator to evaluate and analyze the epidemic prevention resilience of Jiagang community;(4)Based on the evaluation results and research conclusions,propose targeted update strategies to enhance community epidemic prevention resilience in the post epidemic era;(5)Based on the actual situation of Jiagang Community,the updated design was carried out,and the feasibility of the strategy was verified through case studies.This study aims to provide reference value and new ideas for future resilient community renewal and sustainable community development construction,in order to promote optimization and development in this field.
