| As one of China’s strategic emerging industries,new energy vehicles have the characteristics of long industrial chains,wide coverage,and complex upstream and downstream related industries.The development of new energy vehicles has brought new opportunities for China’s automobile industry to “change lanes and overtake”.After years of market cultivation and technological innovation,China’s new energy vehicle product strength has gradually improved,and the infrastructure for charging has gradually improved.It has become the world’s largest producer and seller of new energy vehicles.As one of the first batch of “ten cities and one thousand vehicles” new energy vehicle promotion pilot cities in China,Chongqing Municipal Government has closely followed the national strategic development pace and vigorously promoted relevant policies aiming at the goal of world-class intelligent networked new energy vehicle industry cluster,effectively promoting the convergence of the fuel vehicle industry to the new energy vehicle industry based on the advantages of industrial infrastructure.In view of this,exploring the layout and impact mechanism of Chongqing’s new energy vehicle industry can not only promote the further spatial integration of upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain,but also provide reliable reference for the government to optimize the layout of industrial functional areas,with a view to better grasp the new opportunities for industrial transformation and development.Firstly,this article reviews the relevant literature on the new energy vehicle industry,analyzes relevant concepts and theoretical research,and abstracts the main links of the new energy vehicle industry based on the existing theoretical basis.The main development process and trend of Chongqing’s new energy industry are summarized through current situation analysis.Then,this article collected data to establish research samples of Chongqing’s new energy vehicle industry in 2016,2019,and 2021,and used spatial statistical methods to explore the characteristics and evolution process of industrial layout.The nuclear density map shows that the general components enterprises of Chongqing’s new energy vehicles exhibit a spatial distribution characteristic of “one main component,one auxiliary component,and one axis”.The core components enterprises diffuse from the central urban area to the main urban new area,weakening the polarization effect,and the post market and supporting enterprise gathering center migrate northward.From the results of geographical connectivity rates,it can be concluded that the supporting layout between vehicle and component enterprises also appears to be relatively scattered,reflecting important practical issues in enterprise development.Based on improved spatial autocorrelation methods,the aftermarket and supporting enterprises are identified as centripetal clusters,while component type enterprises exhibit a typical “wheel axle”distribution feature.Finally,a conditional Logit model of enterprises is constructed using multiple explanatory variables to study the impact mechanism of location selection behavior.The research results show that indicators such as road network density,industrial output value,and urbanization rate have varying degrees of promoting effects on the layout of enterprises in all sectors.The rise in regional economic level has attracted the layout of market and supporting enterprises,but at the same time,it has produced a significant“crowding out effect” on component enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry.Based on the research conclusions of this article,policy recommendations are proposed from five aspects: giving play to the leading role of leading enterprises,promoting the improvement of core component enterprises’ supporting facilities,accelerating the construction of new energy infrastructure and service system,and government bridging to promote the integration of schools,governments,and enterprises. |
