Research On The Development Of Cultural Heritage Tourism Of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Under The Background Of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle

The Chengdu-Chongqing Railway stretched from Chengdu in the west to Chongqing in the east,and was completed in 1952,which was the first railway independently built by Chinese after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.As the pioneering work of infrastructure construction in New China,it has greatly encouraged the enthusiasm of the Chinese people for construction,enhanced national self-confidence,and has extremely important economic functions,historical significance and cultural value.In the70 years after its completion,the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway has been an important passage for personnel and materials in the Chengdu-Chongqing area,played an important role in promoting regional social and economic development,and precipitated a thick history and culture in the process of construction,operation and maintenance,and became an important spiritual wealth of mankind.At present,with the development of expressways and high-speed railways,the transportation pattern in Chengdu-Chongqing has undergone revolutionary changes.In this context,the transportation function of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway is gradually weakening.In the process of implementing the national policy of advocating vigorously protecting transportation cultural heritage and promoting the integrated development of transportation and tourism,the historical and cultural value of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway has become increasingly prominent,and it has a broad space for tourism development and utilization.Aiming at the protection and utilization of Chengdu-Chongqing railway cultural heritage under the background of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle,this study starts from the relevant theories of cultural heritage tourism,integrated development of transportation and tourism,and heritage corridors,and through combing and studying and summarizing experience on the development and utilization of railway cultural heritage at home and abroad,three main models are obtained,namely: theme railway special train,railway cultural park and railway museum.Specific to the research object of this thesis,the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway,through the collation of the cultural heritage tourism resources of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway,the profound heritage connotation is excavated,and its historical,cultural,scientific and economic values are analyzed.On this basis,the current situation of the development of cultural heritage tourism of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway is analyzed,and the relevant problems in the development of cultural heritage tourism of Chengdu-Chongqing Railway are analyzed based on field research and questionnaire surveys of tourists,mainly including insufficient regional coordination and cooperation,lack of in-depth development of heritage resources,lack of tourism interaction with regions along the route,lack of effective market promotion,insufficient tourism infrastructure,and inadequate management services.In view of these problems,this thesis puts forward countermeasures from the aspects of coordinated regional development,adapting measures to local conditions to build Chongqing railway cultural heritage tourism products,docking and interaction with tourist destinations along the route,strengthening marketing,strengthening management and services,and improving tourists’ satisfaction and experience,in order to promote the development of Chengdu-Chongqing railway heritage cultural tourism.
