Nowadays,people’s demand for a better educational life is increasing day by day,and the educational requirements of the society are gradually changing from independent knowledge and skill education to comprehensive cultural education.Children’s aesthetic education is responding to this social demand.As an important part of children’s life,children’s activity space plays an important role in supporting children’s physical and mental development.Therefore,the space environment needs to carry the educational function for children,and it must have a unique aesthetic environment different from adults.This paper selects the design of children’s activity space as the research object,and takes the theory of children’s aesthetic education as the starting point of the research.Based on the theory of children’s development,it provides a theoretical basis for the research on the connection between children’s aesthetic education theory and children’s activity space.The study comprehensively adopts the methods of data research,field observation and questionnaire survey to analyze the current situation of children’s activity space in Xi’an City,and excavates the characteristics of its space aesthetic education,and then summarizes the existing problems in Xi’an’s existing children’s activity space and proposes solutions.Based on the analysis results,the concept and practice of children’s activity space design under the background of aesthetic education are discussed,and then the space is used as a medium to improve children’s aesthetic quality and creativity.The innovation of this article is to create a children’s activity space through aesthetic education and provide children with a high-quality activity space.This study introduces the theory of children’s development and children’s aesthetic education into the design of children’s activity space,and puts forward principles and strategies.Taking the children’s activity space in Dahua Qujiang Park in Xi’an as an example,considering the overall situation of the area,this paper analyzes the feasibility of children’s aesthetic education theory in the design of children’s activity space.Under the background of aesthetic education,the children’s activity space should fully follow the laws of children’s physical and psychological development,provide a safe,artistic,creative and interactive environment,and then improve children’s aesthetic ability,and strive to seek more suitable for children in the design of children’s environment.A healthy design approach.
