| Residential areas are the most direct shelter for urban residents,meeting the basic functions of people’s daily life.The core of garden landscape design is for the people and benefits them.With the rapid development of the economy and society,urban construction is constantly changing,making the difference in landscape architecture between new and old residential areas increasingly significant.At the same time,the contradiction between the design of landscape architecture in old residential areas and modern life is becoming increasingly prominent,greatly affecting people’s modern living needs and spiritual pursuits.Promoting the process of optimizing and updating the landscape of old residential areas and improving the quality of life of residents has become an inevitable trend in the future development of cities.This article takes the Dataishi residential area in Hohhot City,Inner Mongolia as the research object,focusing on the concept of humanized design,and summarizing the methods and strategies of urban residential landscape transformation guided by residents’ needs.The article combines the attributes of natural garden landscapes and analyzes the hierarchy of residents’ needs,suitability of public spaces,and cultural context of different age groups.It comprehensively renovates and designs the problems in the garden landscape environment of the Dataishi residential area in Hohhot,and recreates a modern living environment that is friendly,inclusive and shared among all ages in the residential area,welcoming the development and challenges of modern society with a new look.The project combines theory and practice,based on the concept of humanized design,to renovate and design the garden landscape inside the Dataishi residential area in Hohhot City,achieving a green ecological,comfortable and livable garden landscape environment in the residential area,promoting the harmonious development of people and nature,people and society,and improving the quality of life of residents.At the same time,It also provides some theoretical basis and practical guidance value for the design of landscape renovation in similar residential areas. |
