Exploring The Landscape Design Of Old Street Based On Traditional Culture And Modern Aesthetic Consciousness

The five thousand years of Chinese civilisation,from ink and paper,Li Bai and Song lyrics,to Beijing and Henan operas,have brought the children of China precious cultural assets,which look silent but determine where our society has come from and where it is going.Each ancient city has its own historical and cultural heritage,and this geographical and humanistic character is the embodiment of the city’s special image,while the historical old streets are typical representatives of the ancient city’s appearance,and at the same time are witnesses to the city’s historical development and changes,which contain the local historical and cultural heritage and spiritual connotation,but with the development of the times,these characteristics are gradually diluted,resulting in the lack of local cultural connotation,and people’s forgetfulness of the historical and cultural content.People’s forgetfulness of the historical and cultural content does not make people understand the local cultural characteristics well.Therefore,exploring a way to design the landscape of the old streets that has the inner expression of the traditional cultural characteristics of the region,but also meets the modern aesthetic needs,has triggered the author’s thinking and research on this topic.Chapter 1 analyses the background of this paper and the relevant social issues,introduces the purpose and significance of this paper,and analyses the current research situation,as well as the specific research content and research methods;Chapter 2 explains traditional culture,modern aesthetic awareness and concepts related to the historical district.The third chapter examines and analyses the current state of the landscape environment in the historic streets,describing the many shortcomings and problems in the landscape design of the historic streets,with an emphasis on the analysis and sorting out of the significance of the landscape in the historic street "Bookstore Street",in order to further define the topic of the article.The fourth chapter examines the cultural values and modern aesthetic development strategies of China’s historic street ’Bookstore Street’,and lists the relevant design principles and summarises some of the landscape elements.The fifth chapter uses design practice to support the theoretical research approach,applying theoretical knowledge to practical design solutions,such as the expression of landscape design intentions for the bookstore street,and the conceptual expression and partial analysis of the regeneration design.Chapter 6 summarises the value of the cultural heritage and modern aesthetic awareness of the old streets to the old street landscape,and the social value and conservation value of the old historic streets brought about by this study.History is where the connotation of a country lies.Urban planning and construction means the preservation of traditional cultural streets,the co-ordination of tourism development and cultural construction,the preservation of the ancient city,the maintenance of its traditions and cultural heritage,the protection of humanities,arts and cultural and natural heritage,which means the preservation of the glory of the past,the wealth of today and the hope of the future.Through the dialogue between the past and the present,and the harmonious exchange between man and nature,we will be able to experience the heritage of the "string of songs",evoke the thoughts of a thousand years of thought,and appreciate the vitality of the "flourishing of categories",so that traditional culture can be innovatively transformed and innovatively developed.This paper discusses how to carry out landscape design in the city’s historic old streets from the perspective of traditional culture and modern aesthetic awareness,and how to combine our contemporary aesthetic values and contemporary aesthetic sensibilities with the spirit of the times without destroying the cultural heritage of the old streets.For only in this way can our traditional culture be reformed and innovated,retaining the essence of tradition while constantly evolving towards modernity,thus realising a landscape design that transforms traditional culture from the archaic to the modern type.
