With the acceleration of the urbanization process in China,the problem of urban traffic congestion is becoming more and more serious.Developing public transport has become an important measure for relevant departments to alleviate traffic congestion.In this context,urban rail transit has developed rapidly,which provides more choices for People’s Daily travel while alleviating traffic pressure.In order to achieve further development of urban rail transit,it is necessary to further improve its service quality,so as to make passengers more satisfied with rail transit and more willing to travel by rail transit.Therefore,this paper takes Dalian Metro Line 1 as the research object.First,it divides three common public transport modes in Dalian and obtains the sharing rate of Metro Line 1.Then,it establishes the service quality evaluation model of Metro Line 1 to explore the factors influencing passengers’ evaluation of subway service.Finally,the structural equation model is established based on the four aspects of service quality,passenger satisfaction,passenger loyalty and passenger life satisfaction of Metro Line 1,and the mutual influence relationship between them is obtained,and relevant suggestions are put forward for the improvement of subway service.The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)When the public transport options are subway,tram and bus,the occupation,age and educational background of the passengers have a significant impact on the mode choice,but the monthly income has no significant impact on the choice.In different scenarios,when a trip has strict time requirements,travelers are more inclined to choose subway travel.(2)In the research on service quality of Dalian Metro Line 1,we find that individual attribute variables such as gender,age and personal income have no significant influence on service evaluation,while service attribute variables such as travel cost,punctuality and convenience have positive and significant influence on service evaluation.(3)The operation time range,operation area range,travel cost and travel time of Dalian Metro Line 1 can effectively represent the operation attributes of Dalian Metro Line 1,and the punctuality,in-car environment and personal safety of Dalian Metro Line 1 can effectively represent the service attributes of Dalian Metro Line 1.Operation attributes and service attributes have a significant positive impact on passenger satisfaction,passenger satisfaction and customer loyalty have a significant positive impact on life satisfaction,and the impact of passenger satisfaction is more obvious.
