| As the world pays attention to environmental protection and energy security,the new energy vehicle industry has achieved rapid development in recent years.my country has been promoting new energy vehicles since 2009,and the government has introduced a series of subsidy and support plans for the new energy vehicle industry.At present,my country’s production and sales of new energy vehicles have ranked first in the world for eight consecutive years,and have maintained sustained and stable development.However,my country’s new energy automobile industry has problems such as short development time,insufficient infrastructure,and insufficient core technology level.The healthy development of the new energy industry at this stage requires reasonable guidance from the government.However,government subsidies have also had a corresponding negative impact on the development of new energy vehicle companies.For example,the growth of production capacity lacks the effective support of core technologies.At the same time,some new energy vehicle companies will maliciously defraud subsidies due to profit-driven behaviors.Based on this situation,the Chinese government further clarified the restrictive conditions for obtaining government subsidies,and constantly adjusted the proportion of subsidies according to the actual situation.It can be seen that exploring the impact of government subsidies on the innovation performance of the new energy vehicle industry is of great significance in both theory and practice.The dissertation carries out empirical research on the basis of basic theoretical research and current situation analysis.This paper selects the data of56 listed companies in the new energy automobile industry from 2012 to 2021.On the basis of the overall study of the impact of government subsidies on the innovation performance of the new energy automobile industry,it further divides the enterprises into upstream,midstream,and downstream companies to study the impact of government subsidies on innovation performance.The impact of firm innovation performance.In the process of empirical analysis,the explained variable is the new product sales revenue of new energy automobile enterprises,and the explanatory variable is government subsidies.The system GMM model and the fixed effect model are used to conduct empirical analysis of the overall industrial chain and the upper,middle and lower reaches of the industrial chain respectively.After that A robustness test is performed by replacing the explained variable with the number of new patent applications.The conclusion shows that government subsidies can significantly promote the new energy vehicle industry.However,in the empirical research of sub-industry chains,it is concluded that government subsidies have a stronger impact on the innovation performance of downstream industrial chains than midstream and upstream enterprises.Finally,based on empirical research,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:strengthen subsidies to new energy enterprises,shape the concept of intellectual property protection of enterprises;improve the subsidy structure;improve the supervision mechanism;speed up the improvement of supporting infrastructure,and focus on supporting innovative talents.These suggestions can provide a reference plan for improving the innovation performance of the new energy vehicle industry. |
