Research On The Financial Strategy Of Midea Group Under The Digital Transformation

Faced with the advent of the digital economy era and increasing industry competition,more and more traditional manufacturing enterprises are transforming themselves through digital transformation,seeking new growth points and long-term development.However,digital transformation belongs to long-term and systematic strategic planning of enterprises,which requires high requirements for long-term planning and management of enterprise funds.Many enterprises fail to effectively match digital transformation due to their financial strategies,resulting in capital imbalances in the middle and late stages,ultimately leading to the failure of digital transformation and a decline in corporate performance.Therefore,enterprises are gradually realizing the importance of financial strategy while following the upsurge of digital transformation.This paper takes Midea Group as the research object.On the basis of introducing the research status and theory at home and abroad,and the overview of Midea Group’s Digital transformation,this paper analyzes the internal and external environment of Midea Group’s financial strategy,the enterprise life cycle,and the construction of the financial strategy matrix,studies the formulation of Midea Group’s financial strategy under the Digital transformation,and analyzes the implementation of the financial strategy from three aspects:financing strategy,investment strategy,and dividend distribution strategy,Then,evaluate the implementation effect of Midea Group’s financial strategy based on financial and non-financial indicators.This study finds that under the Digital transformation,Midea Group has been in the second quadrant of the financial strategy matrix for a long time,and is in the mature period.On this basis,the overall characteristics of the financial strategy chosen by Midea Group are robust and flexible.Its investment strategy,financing strategy and dividend distribution strategy fully support the Digital transformation strategy,bringing positive economic effects to the enterprise.
