| In recent years,China has promulgated a series of documents such as "Action Plan for Promoting the Development of Big Data","Guidance on Actions to Actively Promote" Internet+ "" and "Guidance on Deepening the Integration and Development of Manufacturing Industry and the Internet",which is undoubtedly a great support for home appliance manufacturing enterprises to carry out digital transformation and upgrading,and has achieved The "leapfrog" high quality flourishing development has put forward a comprehensive strategic planning blueprint for the flourishing development of digital economy in the coming decades,and has put forward a powerful guarantee for the flourishing development of China’s economy and society.After the perfect top-level system design,from the core technology breakthrough,R & D achievements and resources sharing,focus on key research areas,international cultural exchange and mutual understanding,organizational structure optimization,key facilities construction,quality control improvement,information system construction and platform building,as well as financial,taxation,talent and other aspects,the future digital transformation of the home appliance manufacturing industry has put forward a strong system support.As a leader in the household appliance industry,Midea Group started to take action as early as 2012 to adapt to the risks and opportunities brought about by the changing environment.2011 saw a great performance,but then the company actively adjusted its strategic objectives and set out again to study and formulate plans for future digital transformation.Since then,Midea Group has continued to promote digital transformation and upgrade in depth,striving to find new revenue growth points and gaining remarkable results,which has greatly enhanced the company and turned it into a leader in digital transformation in the home appliance industry.This thesis takes the digital transformation of Midea Group as a case study and applies the smile curve theory,value creation theory,process reengineering theory and balanced scorecard to illustrate the impact of digital transformation on performance.After analyzing the learning and growth level,internal business process level and customer level non-financial performance indicators of Midea Group,as well as using factor analysis to conduct a cross-sectional comparison analysis of Midea’s financial performance indicators after digital transformation,we find that the impact of digital transformation on performance is significant and important.After digital transformation,home appliance companies can achieve better performance,and this transformation can not only change the business model and value chain,but also improve the company’s capability,and thus achieve sustainable growth of the company.The purpose of this thesis is to explore in depth the impact of digital transformation on corporate performance in order to provide a favorable reference for other companies in the home appliance industry.The results of the study show that the digital transformation of Midea Group has not only changed its IT system,production and sales model,value chain and R&D innovation,but also significantly improved the company’s corporate performance,thus bringing a positive impact on the company’s growth.Through digital transformation,Midea Group has not only improved its IT system,but also reshaped its production and sales model,reshaped its value chain,and improved its product development capabilities,thus greatly improving the company’s competitiveness and ultimately achieving significant improvements in business performance. |
