In the past 20 years,the construction industry has experienced a period of vigorous development,and numerous infrastructure projects have sprung up at a visible speed.After the emergence of the COVID-19 epidemic,the global economic environment has been greatly impacted,and it is developing hard in twists and turns.Under the influence of supply and demand and other pressures,the Chinese government has formulated and released many macroeconomic policies,and simultaneously implemented control measures such as dual carbon economy,real estate regulation,local "hidden debt" clean-up,capital supervision,and financial platform rectification.Under the pressure of huge economic downturn and stable growth,and the rapid transformation of construction enterprises to high-quality development,the market competition is more intense,and construction enterprises are facing a critical period of second entrepreneurship.This paper takes the performance appraisal of the project manager of C Construction Company as the research content,and excavates the problems of the performance appraisal of the project manager of C Company through expert interviews.Typical problems include unreasonable indicator setting,low appraisal efficiency,and untimely feedback.It also conducts a questionnaire survey within the company to deeply understand and analyze the deep-seated reasons for the performance appraisal of the project manager of the company.Aiming at the problems found,this paper starts from the performance appraisal system of Company C,optimizes and designs the organization of performance appraisal,the formulation of objectives,the implementation of appraisal,etc.At the same time,it reconstructs the performance appraisal system from the dimensions of learning,growth and finance by using the balanced scorecard,and then completes the design of indicator weights by using the analytic hierarchy process.In order to implement the new performance appraisal system,this paper further optimized the safeguard measures of the performance appraisal system,and ensured the smooth implementation of the performance appraisal by strengthening the organizational guarantee,optimizing the selection of project managers,defining the performance appraisal cycle,establishing the performance appraisal database,strengthening the application of appraisal results,and strengthening performance coaching.
