| Damei Township is located in the Xiahe River Basin of Gansu Province,one of the typical areas where multiple ethnic groups live together in northwest China.In the upstream region of Xiahe River Basin,villages where multiple ethnic groups live side by side or gather together are commonplace.However,the landscape and environmental design of these multi-ethnic villages face numerous challenges,such as disorderly ethnic styles and exoticization of ethnic features.With the current rural revitalization underway,appropriate design methods are increasingly needed for the construction of multi-ethnic villages.Xiahe County is located at the intersection of northwest Tibetan and Mongolian nomadic cultures and Han and Hui agricultural cultures,with Damei multi-ethnic village being a typical representative.This paper takes Damei multi-ethnic village in Xiahe County as the research object,carries out an analysis of the village’s spatial pattern,and focuses on the visualization of the ethnic residential pattern to study the spatial pattern and form of Damei village.It summarizes the living space rules and architectural features of multi-ethnic villages,enhances people’s cultural awareness,and aims to protect ethnic characteristics,improve the village landscape environment,and inherit and develop ethnic culture. |
