| The ancient cultural capital of Xi’an has many architectural remains of different dynasties, representing the architectural achievements of different historical periods. As the last peak of the development of ancient architecture, the Ming Dynasty left many masterpieces of ancient architecture, such as the Ming Dynasty City Wall and Bell and Drum Tower in the Xi’an area.Studying these architectural remains from the historical and technical level has formed a fairly mature system, and understanding ancient buildings from the perspective of "people-oriented" can also bring some inspiration to contemporary architectural design. The "human position" in architectural philosophy,or the concern for people in the field of architecture,is the concern for the human body. The body plays an important role in different stages of architectural evolution. From the formation of architectural prototypes,to the embodiment of "body view" in traditional architectural forms, and the emphasis on the body in the composition of contemporary architectural forms, all of them show the core position of "body" in Chinese architectural culture. This paper takes the architectural remains of the Ming Dynasty in Xi’an as an example, focusing on how the "body view" is reflected in traditional architecture.According to the different types of buildings divided into ancient buildings in China from the functional point of view, this paper selects the architectural samples with high achievements in Xi’an as the research objects, among which the city wall as a defensive building, the bell and drum tower as a municipal and landmark building, the Ming Dynasty residential house as a residential building, the Ming Dynasty small wooden boutique public transport hall as a religious building, and the Ming Dynasty garden lotus pond as a garden ornamental building.Through the hierarchical division of historical and cultural significance and the aesthetic value of the body dimension, from the macro perspective-the aesthetic feeling of the body of the overall space of the city and the meso perspective-the analysis of the specific architectural body view, and then to the micro perspective-the excavation of the aesthetic value of architectural details such as architectural decoration, components, indoor and outdoor furnishings, etc, three conclusions are obtained: first, including the sense of body space, body orientation cognition,Body consciousness, including body sensory intentions,is projected into the overall layout planning of Xi’an’s urban space, which is reflected in the city’s iconic and nodal buildings such as the city wall and the bell tower.Second, although there are not many individual buildings of various types in the Ming Dynasty, they can be called fine products, which express the philosophical view and body view of "the unity of man and nature" formed by the regional style of the Guanzhong region and the traditional architecture influenced by the mainstream culture of Confucianism, which is reflected in the architectural form, spatial combination and decorative characteristics. Moreover, the architectural relics of the Ming Dynasty in Xi’an have become an excellent choice for contemporary Xi’an people to carry out cultural publicity, entertainment and leisure with the inheritance of traditional architectural spirit and appropriate modernization without destroying the original appearance;Third, the traditional architecture for people embodied in the architectural relics of the Ming Dynasty has a long historical background and profound cultural and philosophical heritage.Among them, the idea of "human orientation" has something in common with the architectural views of some Western philosophers and architects, that is,affirming the value of human beings and promoting human values. Therefore, the need for architectural planning to consider the needs of people themselves should become an important criterion for consensus and measurement of architectural value.Studying the remains of this building and the culture behind it is of great significance to the utilization and protection of ancient buildings in China,on the one hand, the popularization of ancient architectural knowledge and the excavation of aesthetic value,on the other hand,it has the role of inheriting and carrying forward the ancient architectural culture.By excavating the aesthetic fashion and philosophical ideas behind the aesthetic characteristics of architectural remains,it is conducive to concretizing the body political view and body culture concept formed by the influence of Confucian culture and centralized system, and then transforming the architectural ideas with universal significance into contemporary architectural design inspiration. |
