Recently, with more and more megaprojects projects in the international engineering market,EPC and integrated models including EPC have been widely used in the international engineering market, which brings more opportunities and challenges for Chinese foreign engineering contracting enterprises.Due to the complexity of large-scale international EPC projects, there are many factors affecting the realization of the goal, and taking measures to remedy the deviation of the goal often causes a large loss. Therefore, more attention should be paid to the identification and prevention of the influencing factors leading to the deviation, and take active measures to optimize the environment for the realization of the goal.In order to improve the target control ability of Chinese EPC contractors and the success rate of large-scale international EPC project delivery.Firstly, thesis summarizes the characteristics of large international EPC projects through an overview of goal control theory, system theory, large projects and the EPC model, and establishes the three goal elements of quality, cost and schedule and the goal contents of design, procurement and construction links under the EPC model.Secondly,by investigating the cases related to large projects and analyzing the literature,43 target influencing factors of large international EPC projects are identified, and the direct influencing relationships among the factors are analysed by combining literature and case inference, based on which an explanatory mechanism model is established to obtain the results of 7 hierarchical divisions of influencing factors and 17 action paths, and the model results are explained from the hierarchical divisions and paths of action. However,in view of the uniqueness of each specific large-scale international EPC project,in order to confirm the key target impact factors in the specific project,a material meta-topologic model was constructed to evaluate the impact level of the impact factors on the target, and the RG project was used as an example to start the application.
