For large vehicles such as yachts and ships with complex technical structure systems,factors such as appearance,internal structure and function should be considered comprehensively in shape design.To optimize the design process of such products and improve the output efficiency of concept schemes,Requirement-function models were constructed and solved by need analysis,functional analysis and TRIZ theory problem solving tools.Combined with the style transfer technology based on GAN,an intelligent generative design method for product optimization and innovation of large vehicles was constructed.This paper takes the yacht design as an example.Through the yacht industry and market research,the intersection fields between the yacht manufacturing process and industrial design disciplines was explored,with the application of design methods for problem analysis and solution.Firstly,deep learning and intelligent design are analyzed,the concept of intelligent generative design is proposed and the method model is constructed.Secondly,this method is used to optimize a 50-foot motor yacht.Through the user interview method,the key requirements of users are obtained.The interaction matrix of yacht components is constructed by functional analysis,and the demand-function model is constructed by combining the key requirements.According to the characteristics of the shape of the yacht,the yacht function models are divided.Key problems are solved by searching scientific effect knowledge base and function oriented search according to model function code,to form design scheme description and draw design sketch;The data set of pix2 pix GAN is built to train the model.Then input the design sketch to generate the antagonistic network to generate the scheme;Finally,the design scheme obtained is evaluated by decision,and the advantages and disadvantages of the intelligent generation scheme and the designer’s scheme in product function,design efficiency,user satisfaction and other aspects are compared.Then the optimal design scheme is detailed in design and scene rendering display.The effectiveness of FA/TRIZ/GAN intelligent generative design method in providing styling scheme design creativity is verified through the design study of 50-foot motor yacht,which optimizes the structure and function of yacht appearance,deck and cabin components and improves the efficiency of styling optimization design.It provides a reference for the quick design of large vehicles such as yachts and ships.
