The continued growth of the national economy makes the future development of China’s yacht industry limitless. However, the continued growth of the yacht industry not only has given rise to a yacht design technology promotion but also prompted the yacht to shorten the design cycle. The current international yacht market is more popular deep V yacht, its hull type surface from a combination of multiple surfaces.Modeling complex and mechanically coupled with the huge data modeling process make deep V yacht modeling work big investment and low efficiency.In this paper, rapid prototyping deep V yacht is studied and improved modeling pretreatment yacht type value data. According to deep V hull yacht characteristics of its curved surface composition, we can design hierarchical modeling method which is suitable for deep V yacht. Using deep V-yacht-point value table structure to create a database of information, enhances the yacht modeling efficiency.In SINOVATION software environment, we develop a deep V yacht rapid prototyping system. Its function through yacht modeling example has carried on the preliminary test, which can implement the rapid modeling of deep V yacht.
