Amblyopia is a common eye disease in children,which brings many inconveniences to children’s daily life,and also has a negative impact on children’s mental health and social interaction.The state advocates strengthening the prevention and treatment of children’s amblyopia and other poor vision,and promoting the healthy development of children’s vision.However,the existing programmed amblyopia treatment methods tend to make children feel bored and unable to concentrate on training,which ultimately leads to poor treatment results.This project aims at the design of visual training household products for children with amblyopia aged 5-6 years old,and proposes a visual training product design model that improves children’s training fun and shapes immersive experience based on flow theory,which is conducive to the treatment and rehabilitation of children with amblyopia.Firstly,the relevant achievements and design applications of flow theory and visual cognition theory are sorted out,and the visual training methods and training products of children with low vision are investigated to guide the design direction of visual training products.Secondly,the basic characteristics and visual cognitive characteristics of children with amblyopia were analyzed,in-depth interviews,questionnaire surveys,and user experience maps were drawn to obtain needs,and the KJ method was used to screen and summarize user needs,and the analytic hierarchy method(AHP)was used to calculate and analyze the weight ranking of each demand index.Thirdly,the relevant models of flow theory are cross-studied,and under the guidance of the PAT model of flow and the fiveelement model of user experience,the flow experience elements of flow theory are extracted,the product design intention is analyzed,and the design strategy and product composition model of home visual training products for children with low vision are obtained.Finally,based on the design points and product composition mode guided by visual cognition theory,the product design positioning is determined,and the home visual training hardware products and software products for children with low vision are designed,and the final visual training effect of the products is verified through experiments.Based on visual cognition theory,this topic analyzes the visual cognitive characteristics of children with amblyopia,summarizes the key points of product design guided by visual elements,and applies flow theory to the design of home visual training products for children with amblyopia,so that children with amblyopia are in a continuous flow experience process,more deeply immersed in visual training,guide children with amblyopia to adhere to visual training,shorten the period of visual rehabilitation training,accelerate vision recovery,and ultimately improve the rehabilitation effect of children with amblyopia.
