Research On Design Optimization And Application Strategy Of Rammed Earth Dwellings In Southern Shaanxi Province

With the continuous development of society,rammed earth dwellings,as the main form of traditional architecture,especially rural dwellings,have gradually been phased out by the times due to their outdated construction methods.Few incremental dwellings choose this traditional construction method.However,there is still a huge stock of rammed earth dwellings in the vast rural land of China,such as Ayiwang in Xinjiang,caves in northern Shaanxi,Tuzhangfang in Dali,and Tulou in Fujian.These preserved rural rammed earth dwellings still reflect the construction wisdom passed down by the Chinese people from generation to generation,with fresh regional characteristics,and carry the long-standing traditional culture of China.Among them,the artistic language and regional residential characteristics of rammed earth dwellings in southern Shaanxi bred under the unique geographical environment,climate conditions and immigrant culture in southern Shaanxi highlight the unique charm of rammed earth dwellings in southern Shaanxi.Moreover,in recent years,the country has also proposed a series of policies to protect rural traditions and inherit regional culture,vigorously promoting the national policies of "sustainable development" and "rural revitalization",thus gradually highlighting the important position of rammed earth dwellings in rural residential construction.rammed earth dwellings,with their unique green and economic characteristics,have become an important carrier for implementing these policies,which in turn enables traditional raw earth materials to be re examined,it has been endowed with new era connotations.Based on the above background,this article summarizes the regional characteristics and existing problems of rammed earth dwellings in the southern Shaanxi region through research ideas such as data analysis,field research,problem analysis,countermeasure proposal,and practical exploration,combined with research methods such as field research and literature review;Exploring rammed earth dwellings in southern Shaanxi from the perspectives of natural environment and cultural heritage,spatial organization and construction,climate adaptability and environmental comfort;Summarize the optimization strategies for rammed earth residential design in the southern Shaanxi region,and apply them through design cases.Firstly,based on the relevant design theories of rammed earth dwellings,drawing on domestic and foreign theories and experiences,this study sorts out the characteristics of rammed earth dwellings and the regional characteristics of southern Shaanxi,and deeply analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of rammed earth dwellings in southern Shaanxi;Secondly,15 rammed earth dwellings from 9 villages in Shangluo City,Ankang City,and Hanzhong City in southern Shaanxi were selected as research subjects.The regional context,spatial form,structural form,construction technology,environmental comfort,and other aspects were analyzed and surveyed,and survey questionnaires were distributed to summarize the regional deficiencies;Unscientific planning and site selection: Unreasonable spatial functions: inconvenient use of functions;The spatial scale is not suitable for humans;The construction technology is relatively backward;The indoor comfort needs to be improved and other issues;Once again,design optimization strategies were proposed from three aspects: natural environment and regional context,spatial organization and construction,climate adaptability and environmental comfort;Finally,using the design of rammed earth dwellings in Xixiang County,Hanzhong City,Shaanxi Province as an application case,the design optimization strategy proposed in Chapter 4 is applied to provide design reference for the design and construction of contemporary rammed earth dwellings,especially in the southern Shaanxi region.
