With the intensification of China’s aging population,the healthy home dining and personalized demand development of the elderly groups in various urban communities in China,as well as the implementation and innovation of relevant policies and practices of meal assistance for the elderly in various places,have continuously promoted the development of meal assistance services for the elderly in urban communities.Faced with the need to improve the quality,sustainability and healthy development of urban community meal assistance services for the elderly at this stage,this paper takes the design mode of elderly meal assistance services in urban communities as the research object,and explores the design mode of elderly meal assistance services in urban communities based on the context of health promotion from the perspective of health communication at this stage.Based on the service quality evaluation scale of SERVQUAL model,the evaluation dimension of urban community meal service quality from the perspective of health communication was analyzed,and the user’s expectation evaluation of community meal service and the actual service experience perception evaluation were collected through questionnaire survey.On the basis of questionnaire data collection,empirical analysis is carried out by using software SPSS27.0,data reliability and validity analysis,descriptive statistical analysis,factor analysis and ANOVA analysis are used to analyze the distribution of respondents,whether the main factor dimension of the questionnaire is reasonable,and whether there is a significant difference between each index and single factor.Finally,according to the IPA analysis method,the evaluation results are analyzed,and the design strategy of the elderly meal service from the perspective of health communication is proposed from four aspects: the professional construction of the meal service team,the professional construction of the meal service facilities,the maintenance of the public welfare and publicity of the community meal service for the elderly,and the improvement of the accessibility of health information dissemination of the community meal service for the elderly.Finally,based on the context of health promotion from the perspective of health communication,the target users and stakeholders,business models and service providers,service processes and service contacts are sorted out,and the service processes and service contacts that need to be optimized in the service design are analyzed through model testing,service accessibility evaluation,data collection and analysis of offline and online services.According to the actual operation observation,interview and questionnaire data feedback of users tested by the desktop pre-arranged service model,the initial service design content is optimized.This paper explores the path of health information communication intervention to improve the quality of elderly meal assistance services in urban communities,constructs a service model based on the empirical analysis of the elderly meal service quality evaluation scale from the perspective of health communication,and verifies the design practice,which is expected to play a certain reference value for the subsequent research and practice of elderly meal assistance services in urban communities.
