Dong Village Conservation And Renewal

Traditional villages are the epitome of China’s rural society,and ethnic villages are treasures of thousands of years of Chinese national culture and have high historical and cultural value.As a product of historical development,the Dong ethnic village has outstanding landscape and cultural characteristics,demonstrating the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the Chinese nation.As an important rural type and cultural carrier,they are an indispensable part of China’s comprehensive promotion of the prosperity of socialist culture and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.However,in the wave of urbanization and marketization,the protection and renewal of ethnic minority villages are facing severe challenges.In the new round of urbanization,it is urgent to realize the organic integration of cultural inheritance and sustainable development of ethnic minority villages.Under the background of rural revitalization policy,this paper focuses on the protection and development of traditional villages of the Dong ethnic group in Sanjiang,and draws excellent theoretical results and practical experience by explaining relevant theories,summarizing the current research status at home and abroad,and analyzing typical cases at home and abroad.Based on the theory of sustainable development,the theory of regional cultural geography and the theory of human settlement science,this paper analyzes the typical problems faced by them,such as the destruction of the natural environment,the lack of public service space to adapt to social development,the difficulty of inheriting traditional culture and the difficulty of sustainable development under "tourism homogenization",and comprehensively sorts out the various problems encountered in the process of protection and development of Dong ethnic villages from multiple dimensions,and puts forward corresponding protection and renewal strategies,and finally applies the relevant theories and practical experience to the specific design and practice projects of Ma’anzhai.A comprehensive and feasible strategy for the protection and renewal of traditional ethnic minority villages was explored.This study aims to find a construction and renewal path that takes into account the protection and renewal of traditional villages,the construction of harmonious rural life,the maintenance of historical scenery and the development of characteristic tourism.This paper aims to explore how to achieve renewal and development while protecting traditional Dong villages,so as to promote the rural revitalization of ethnic minority villages.After clarifying the objectives of protection and renewal,the conservation and renewal methods and development strategies of Ma’an Zhai of Chengyang Bazhai were explored.At the same time,it is hoped that this research will provide a reference for the protection and renewal of other traditional villages in China,and contribute to the conservation and renewal research in the field of traditional villages.
