Design Of The Entrance Space Of Dong Traditional Village Based On Catalyst Theory

Under the background of rural revitalization,traditional villages around the country have ushered in new opportunities and new ways of development,and the entrance space that occupies an important position in traditional villages has also ushered in new changes.The research object of this paper is located in Liuzhou Gaoyou Village in the first batch of Chinese traditional villages.In order to improve the village infrastructure,attract tourists and promote industrial development,the main tourist group is taken as the design object.In view of the current lack of entrance space,the organic renewal theory is followed,and the catalyst strategy is used for practical verification to create a highly attractive,functional and ecologically harmonious Dong traditional village entrance space.This is also the innovation of this paper,so as to achieve the purpose of promoting the overall development of the village,and provide a reference for the renovation of other village entrance space.First of all,the literature research method is used to sort out the domestic and foreign literature,sort out the development of catalyst theory and organic renewal theory at home and abroad,sort out its development context and application methods,formulate specific research plans,and explain the organic renewal theory and catalyst theory.The basic theory,operation mode and significance of entrance space design lay the theoretical foundation of this paper.Secondly,from the perspectives of sociology,history,design and geography,the elements of the entrance space are analyzed from many aspects.The entrance space is classified into three categories:iconic,transitional and oriented.The factors affecting the formation of the entrance space are summarized.Through the analysis of successful cases,the feasibility of the catalyst theory in the design of the entrance space is verified.Then,based on the ’organic renewal theory’,five basic principles of controllability,locality,functionality,openness and linkage are proposed for the design of entrance space,and three design orientations of ecological restoration,space optimization and public service improvement are summarized to provide guidance for design practice.Finally,the catalyst update is practiced in the way of case design,in order to create a good experience to meet the needs of residents and tourists through the transformation of the entrance space of Gaoyou Village.
