Narrative Design Of Public Space In Guangxi Dong Village In The Context Of Rural Revitalization

As an organic component of rural regional culture,ethnic villages are the material carriers of rural production and activities,with distinct regional ethnic characteristics and reflecting the rural culture and ethnic values of their era.In the context of rural revitalization strategy,through the narrative design and planning of cross regional public spaces in Dong villages,explore new models suitable for the future development of Dong ethnic villages in Guangxi.During the long historical development,Guangnan Dong Village has formed unique ethnic customs and habits in production,life,culture,and other aspects.The exploration of place narrative in Dong ethnic villages in Guangxi starts with the theory of "spatial narrative" and related Dong village research,systematically sorting out the development of relevant theories and practical research at home and abroad,laying a theoretical and practical foundation for the study of public space narrative in Dong ethnic villages in Guangxi in the context of rural revitalization.By selecting the main Dong settlement cases in Hunan,Guizhou and Guangxi,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the narrative design cases of the public space of Dong villages from the perspective of space narrative,and summarizes the existing common problems of the public space of Dong villages in China,such as "fragmentation of space schema,patterning of story themes,convergence of place building,and imbalance of overall shaping".By drawing on the narrative techniques of domestic and foreign public space design cases,combined with the theory of "spatial narrative",the narrative path of public space in Guangnan Dong Village is connected.Based on the analysis of the challenges of "narrative context,narrative clues,narrative scenes,and narrative space" in Dong Village,Correspondingly,four narrative design strategies have been proposed,including "clearing obstacles and dredging up sediment-sorting out the narrative structure,threading threads-adjusting the narrative rhythm,expressing emotions and ideas-enriching the narrative scene experience,arranging and integrating-improving the narrative expression effect".This has achieved the effect of narrating the life stories,cultural stories,historical stories,social stories,and revitalizing the public space of the Dong village in a spatial manner in the narrative context.The design connects rich transitional narrative theme spaces through layered landscape sequences,which not only enhances the narrative atmosphere of public spaces but also evokes emotional resonance among the audience.In the context of rural revitalization,the narrative design of public spaces in Dong ethnic villages in Guangxi has laid a solid foundation for telling the stories of Guangnan with emotion,strengthening ethnic consciousness,enhancing the local roots of ethnic villages,promoting ethnic and social identity,and building a magnificent Guangxi.
