Research On The Evaluation System Of The Elderly-oriented Household Appliance Design

According to the seventh national census,18.7 percent of the population is 60 years old or above,and 13.5 percent is 65 years old or above.China is about to enter a deeply aging society.In June 2021,China Household Appliances Research Institute released a series of standards of the elderly-oriented Technology of Intelligent Household Appliances.In August of the same year,the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration issued the national standard of General Technical Requirements for Household Appliances Applicable to the Elderly.With the proposal of various related standards for the elderly-oriented household appliances,the necessity and urgency of the design of the elderly-oriented household appliances are revealed from another Angle.At present,it is urgent to standardize and popularize the design of the elderly-oriented household appliances,so as to make the elderly-oriented household appliances more targeted to meet the needs of product care design under the current situation of the elderly and make up for the deficiencies in the development of the elderly-oriented products.This study fully investigated relevant researches on the design of the elderly-oriented household appliances at home and abroad,aiming to build an evaluation system model for the design of the elderly-oriented household appliances,improve the current situation with few relevant research results,and reduce the difference cognition between users and designers.In order to promote the development of the design of the elderly-oriented household appliances,the problems such as the non-suitability of the evaluation index for the elderly,the interference of the interaction between the indexes and the complexity of the uncertain information in the selection process of multiple design schemes are solved.First of all,this study combined with the elderly-oriented technology acceptance model,conducted interviews with relevant experts and users in this field,and conducted literature research to extract keywords for the design requirements of the elderly-oriented household appliances,and determined the evaluation index set for the elderly-oriented household appliances design.Secondly,this study combined with the analytic hierarchy process,DEMATEL method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the design evaluation system model of household appliances suitable for the elderly was constructed,and the washing machines were selected to carry out the verification of the model.At the same time,according to the evaluation results,the application path of the evaluation model was expanded,the optimization priority of the design scheme index was determined,and the optimization priority of each design component of the washing machine was determined by fitting with the design component library of household appliances,and the idea of product design optimization was expanded.Finally,the application prospect and value significance of the evaluation system model are extended,and the application system of design evaluation and optimization of the elderly-oriented household appliances is summarized.This study focuses on the construction of the design evaluation system model of the elderly-oriented household appliances,complements the current theoretical research on the design evaluation of household appliances suitable for the elderly,effectively guarantees the determination of the elderly-oriented evaluation indicators,better considers the interaction between indicators and the influence of user’s needs on index weight,and makes household appliances design pay more attention to the needs of the elderly.It also promotes the selection of the design scheme of the elderly-oriented household appliances,further promotes the development and popularization of the design of household appliances suitable for the elderly,and improves the satisfaction of the elderly.
