Based On The Elderly Care Needs Of Only Child Families Landscape Planning And Design Of Elderly Care Community

The issue of aging,as a by-product of social development,has become an urgent problem to be solved worldwide.Considering China’s national conditions and current situation,the intensification of aging has led to more severe elderly care risks for only child families.It is not feasible to rely solely on the traditional elderly care model of family and social elderly care to solve the aging problem in China during this period.The models of community elderly care and housing based elderly care have gradually been developed and improved,and are accepted by the majority of elderly people.The elderly care community model is advancing through exploration,and the elderly care landscape design it has given birth to can serve as the future development direction of elderly care communities in China.People are increasingly paying attention to the quality of the landscape environment in elderly care communities,making elderly care landscape design a hot topic in community construction.In order to address the dilemma of only child families becoming the main elderly care providers in China in the coming decades,and to enhance the community elderly care experience from the perspective of elderly care landscape design,based on landscape design,behavioral psychology of the elderly,and environmental psychology as theoretical foundations,literature research,questionnaire surveys,semi-structured interviews,field research,and comprehensive analysis research methods are used to study the elderly care community in Songhe New Village,Shunyi District,The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)By analyzing and interpreting previous research results on elderly care landscape design,we aim to understand the development direction of elderly care landscape design.Based on the needs of the elderly,we conduct research on excellent elderly care cases in China,summarize the advantages and disadvantages of landscape design in excellent elderly care communities in China,and provide experience and inspiration for future elderly care community landscape design.(2)Analyzed the difficulties faced by only child families in elderly care,explored the elderly care needs of only child families,and proposed landscape design strategies based on their needs.Focused on the behavioral and psychological needs of the elderly,proposed landscape space construction strategies for sports spaces,intergenerational companionship spaces,horticultural spaces,small group spaces,static rest spaces,and health spaces in elderly care communities.(3)Taking the landscape design of the home based elderly care community in Songhe New Village,Shunyi District,Beijing as the practical object,preliminary analysis and current situation analysis are conducted.Landscape design strategies based on the elderly care needs of only child families are applied to overall design,spatial node design,and special design,making it a high-quality elderly care community with high-quality elderly care landscape,able to meet the elderly care needs of only child families,and able to provide high-quality elderly care services.
