As a public commercial form,farmers’ market meets the requirements of socialist economic development and the objective requirements of mass consumption behavior.In a long period of time in the future,it is still a regional,public welfare and non-monopoly commercial facility.Qingdao municipal government attaches great importance to the construction of farmers ’markets and vigorously carries out the standardization construction of farmers’ markets.Since 2012,most of the farmers’ markets in seven districts of Qingdao have been rectified.After the rectification,the farmers’ markets have unified style and standardized order,but they have less of the most vivid appearance.Farmers’ market is the concentrated place of market culture,rooted in regional culture,and can best reflect local characteristics.The development of modernism makes the city lack of history,complexity and personality,and become a symbol of large scale and equalization.Since the 20 th century,the excessive singleness of urban development and construction has been questioned.As a daily living space,how to preserve the diversity and richness in the process of urbanization is a problem worth studying.This paper mainly studies the spatial development possibility of farmers ’market,investigates the current situation of the farmers’ market in Qingdao city from the function of market,spatial layout and spatial environment,and summarizes the problems and contradictions of the spatial design,following the spatial function diversification,the principle of the optimization of spatial function,and the difference of farmers’ market.In Qingdao city Taiwan southeast sea product comprehensive market update as the design practice of this topic,combined with the farmer’s market design specification and Qingdao urban farmer’s market space update research put forward design principles,the order space strategy,theme experiential space environment construction applied to practice design,further demonstrate the feasibility of the farmer’s market space promotion strategy.On the one hand,the research on the design of farmers’ market can create a more comfortable and ideal high-quality public living space for residents;on the other hand,the key space nodes of the old city to stimulate the ripple effect and enhance the vitality of the old city.
