Tianjin South Canal Yangliuqing Section Yuanbao Island Landscape Planning And Design Research

As one of the greatest projects in China’s ancient history,the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal undertakes the transportation function of the north and the south dominated by water transportation,mobilizes the resource exchanges between the north and the south through water conservancy,shipping,river and other projects,and balances the development of the north and the south.It can be said that it is the earliest living cultural heritage excavated by mankind since the beginning of records,and has the longest scale.The paper takes the Yangliuqing section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Tianjin South Canal as the research object,and discusses the inheritance of the protection of the canal’s cultural heritage through the landscape planning of the overall area of Yuanbao Island located in the Yangliuqing section,Yuanbao Island is an island delimited by the canal,through the influence of canal culture,developed Wenchang Pavilion,Shijia Courtyard,Yangliu Youth Painting and other high-quality cultural heritage,due to the lack of site functions,Wenchang Pavilion located on Yuanbao Island is basically in an abandoned state,exposing the problem of lack of local cultural protection.In order to solve this problem,this paper takes Yuanbao Island in the Yangliuqing section of the Tianjin South Canal as the research object,and provides solutions for the landscape design planning of Yuanbao Island from the perspective of cultural heritage protection,through document analysis method,questionnaire method,induction and summary method.Firstly,through the analysis and research of the basic background and environmental status of Yuanbao Island in the Yangliuqing section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,and the distribution of on-site field research and questionnaire survey,the current situation was summarized.It is understood that the research area has the advantages of cultural heritage value,but lacks means of protection and inheritance,and the local residents have little cultural awareness and strong demand for activity venues.Then,through cultural heritage protection,cultural gene extraction,market research,community participation and other paths,combined with the three demand directions of culture,commerce and community to analyze the research strategy,respectively analyze the value transmission brought by the three needs in the protection of cultural landscape heritage,promote commercial development through culture,and provide an economic foundation for the development of culture to achieve the utilization of cultural value.Combining the three demand directions of commerce,community,education and culture,the landscape planning and design of Yuanbao Island in the Yangliuqing section of the Tianjin South Canal was proposed,with the purpose of inheriting and developing culture,to create a multi-dimensional and iconic waterfront landscape space.Through the landscape planning research of Yuanbao Island in the Yangliuqing section of the Tianjin South Canal,a solution to the protection and development of cultural heritage using ternary space is proposed,which not only effectively solves the problem of cultural heritage loss and weak cultural awareness,but also helps the local Wenchang Pavilion to regenerate the functions of tangible cultural heritage,and once again achieve the purpose of cultural heritage protection discussed in this paper.
