| In recent years, the public has increasingly pursued a higher quality of life, including a focus on spiritual enjoyment such as leisure and recreation.Outdoor recreation has become a way for people to spiritual pleasure, relieve fatigue, and release pressure.Inspired by President Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization ideology of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," the construction of urban wetland parks has become a new recreational destination that has attracted widespread attention from the public. However, past urban wetland park planning and design focused on planners’ perspectives, which made it difficult to fully meet the needs of citizens during practical use, resulting in low levels of satisfaction. Therefore,it is very important and necessary to improve the quality of urban wetland parks. At the same time,it provide effective methods and tools for objectively evaluating citizen satisfaction and developing scientific and targeted recommendations and strategies to address these problems.Based on this, this study selected the typical urban wetland park,Xinglong Lake Wetland Park in Chengdu,Sichuan Province,as the main research object. The aim was to identify existing problems in the park through objective citizen satisfaction evaluation and to provide new ideas for evaluating citizen satisfaction and managing operations for urban wetland parks. This paper selects and determines the index factors of this evaluation through literature review, expert consultation and combined with the use status obtained from sample site investigation.Based on the theory of recreation opportunity spectrum,a comprehensive evaluation was conducted using qualitative and quantitative methods to obtain data on importance and satisfaction. Finally, the data from both dimensions were put into a four-quadrant model to identify three existing problems in the Xinglong Lake Wetland Park and to provide optimization recommendations. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The recreation satisfaction evaluation system is constructed based on theoretical research.According to literature search and expert opinions, combined with on-site investigation results of Xinglong Lake Wetland Park, the evaluation model included one target layer, four criteria layers, and twenty-two indicator factors.(2)The evaluation system was applied to the actual case analysis.Comprehensive evaluation using IPA analysis method was conducted to obtain the final scores(on a scale of five)of the three activity areas in Xinglong Lake Wetland Park. The scores of the active Tianfu Orange area(3.29)were higher than those of the quiet and fresh Green area(3.14)and the mysterious and intelligent Blue area(3.04).The comprehensive evaluation score was 3.16,and the overall recreation satisfaction was "good."(3)The results showed that there were three main problems after the use of Xinglong Lake Wetland Park in Chengdu:(1)the vitality Tianfu orange area:lacked supporting management and had fewer supporting service facilities in the park;(2)the quiet and fresh green area had relatively weak recreational functions and fewer types of recreational activities, leading to low citizen participation;(3)the mysterious and intelligent blue area needed to strengthen humanistic resources and popular science education landscapes.(4)Relevant optimization suggestions were proposed for the above problems:(1)the vitality Tianfu orange area should strengthen basic infrastructure construction and improve ecological sightseeing facilities;(2)the quiet and fresh green area should be divided into areas for active and quiet activities, increase activity drainage, and enhance scene check-in facilities to increase its usage rate;(3)the mysterious and intelligent blue area should consider adding popular science education facilities, services, and activities. In summary, this study provides useful exploration and case analysis for the evaluation of urban wetland parks and provides reference and inspiration for researchers and managers. |
