Research On The Evaluation And Application Of Material Visual Perception Of Chengdu Plain Art Rural Construction Works

At present,Chengdu Plain is carrying out practical exploration of art countryside construction.In this process,the materials used are important material carriers for the performance of works of art.In addition,the visual perception characteristics of different materials have an important impact on people’s visual perception,psychological experience,etc.This paper takes visual perception,place spirit,design aesthetics,etc.as the theoretical basis,and adopts research methods such as field research,questionnaire survey,SD semantic difference,etc,This paper studies the evaluation and application of the visual perception of the materials of the works of art in the art village construction of Chengdu Plain.The main research findings are as follows:(1)Through the investigation and study of eight typical cases of art rural construction in Chengdu Plain,two types of materials used in art works are summarized,namely,six natural materials including straw,wood,bamboo,soil,stone,and plants,and six artificial materials including tile,brick,metal,plastic,propylene,and glass.Summarized 5 forms of expression,including earth art,wall painting art,and art sketches;6 ways of expression,including abstraction,integration and scene;Six specific functions,including landscape,experience,education,etc.,have also been found to have low integration with the environment,insufficient utilization of material characteristics,and single expression in application.(2)Firstly,six material samples were selected as visual perception evaluation objects for both natural and artificial material types;Secondly,based on the differences in visual perception between natural and artificial materials,12 visual perception evaluation factors were determined,totaling 24 pairs of adjectives;Finally,the SD semantic difference method was used for evaluation research to obtain the evaluation scores of visual perception characteristics for 12 material samples.The evaluation results were analyzed and studied from three aspects: overall,different gender groups,and different professional groups.It was found that people have a better visual perception of different materials and different populations have differences in visual perception of the same material.(3)Based on relevant basic theories,case studies and analysis of material visual perception evaluation results,a study was conducted on the application of material visual perception.Specific application strategies were proposed based on four levels: material type,expression form,social function,and artistic techniques.At the same time,the actual construction project of Donglin Village Phase II,Deyuan Street,Pidu District,Chengdu was selected to conduct practical exploration of the application strategies and verify their feasibility.
