Nowadays,modern higher vocational education is gaining more and more attention and the scale of higher vocational institutions is expanding rapidly.This situation has led to problems such as insufficient experimental equipment per student and has limited the development of the school.At the same time,in the basic electrical and electronic courses,some higher vocational institutions have the explicit problem of disconnection between teaching and experiment,and the implicit problem of lack of maintenance of some experimental equipment,which makes it difficult for students to grasp theoretical knowledge intuitively.With the continuous development of virtual simulation instrument technology,this paper designs a Lab VIEW-based electrical and electronic experiment platform to address the above problems.The platform can enhance students’ experimental ability and strengthen their understanding of theoretical knowledge,and it has the characteristics of high visualization and easy operation.The main content of this paper includes the following aspects.Firstly,it introduces the background of the project research,outlines the current situation of domestic and international research on virtual simulation experiments,and clarifies the purpose and significance of the research.Secondly it explains the concept and characteristics of virtual instrument technology.Through comparative analysis,Lab VIEW is chosen as the experimental platform for this project,while the basic circuit principles involved in the basic electrical and electronic courses in higher vocational institutions are briefly introduced.The project then builds the various modules of the experimental simulation system,including the login system,the program selection interface,and designs the front panel and program block diagram of the system.For 12 experiments such as signal generators,the paper proposes corresponding design objectives,implements the settings of each control and input parameters in the design interface of different experimental programs,and explains the meaning of the displayed values and waveforms.By inputting different parameters in each simulation experiment,the experimental results are compared with the theoretical calculation results,and it is proved that the experimental platform designed in this project can complete the simulation training requirements of each experiment well,and the functions of each module in the system are stable and reliable.After more than one year of practical use in a higher vocational institution,this experimental platform has received good feedback from teachers and students.This project has enriched the teaching mode of electrical and electronic courses in the school,provided a practical teaching approach for experimental courses in similar institutions,and promoted the development of experimental teaching in higher vocational institutions.
