With the rapid development of high-speed rail,civil aviation and the popularity of private cars,the living space of traditional road passenger transport has been sharply reduced,the routes have become shorter and shorter,and the routes have become dense and sparse.The road passenger transport industry is faced with unprecedented operational difficulties,resulting in the plight of bus passenger stations engaged in road passenger transport operations.7,000 bus passenger stations have been closed in five years.The bus station is a basic service industry in small and medium-sized cities,and its closure brings great inconvenience to residents’ transportation.Therefore,the transformation and upgrading of bus passenger stations in small and medium-sized cities is imminent.In order to achieve better transformation,it is necessary to conduct in-depth analysis of small and medium-sized city bus passenger stations to provide guidance for their transformation and development.The specific research content of this paper is as follows:First,based on the Harvard analysis framework to analyze its transformation direction.The strategic analysis adopts SWOT method to analyze the existing advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of road passenger transport,and probes into its development direction.Financial analysis analyzes the profitability,risk and growth of the bus passenger station from the perspective of finance,and puts forward some suggestions for its transformation.The prospect analysis qualitatively analyzes the development prospect of the bus passenger station and provides reference for its transformation.Taking Kaiyuan passenger Station as an example,the transformation direction is comprehensively analyzed.Secondly,through the literature reading method combined with national policies,three kinds of transformation schemes suitable for small and medium-sized city bus passenger stations are proposed: "passenger transport + tourism","passenger transport + logistics" and customized passenger transport.Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process are used to evaluate the scheme,and it is found that customized passenger transport scheme is the best transformation scheme of Kaiyuan passenger station.Finally,the implementation effect of the scheme is predicted.RP/SP questionnaire was designed,the offline questionnaire was launched,the travel data of 250 travelers were collected,and the status quo of travel mode selection of travelers was analyzed according to the data.Multiple Logit and nested Logit share prediction models were established,Chi-square test correlation analysis and variable selection were carried out on their attributes,Stata software was used to calibrate and analyze model parameters,and the influence of age,distance,time,cost and other factors on travel mode selection was analyzed.The sharing rate of various modes of transportation is obtained.Forecast the passenger flow and benefit after the implementation of the plan,and explore whether the transformation plan is feasible.Through the above research,the transformation plan of bus passenger station in small and medium-sized cities is proposed,which provides countermeasures and references for the development of other bus passenger stations in the industry,provides directional guidance for the sustainable development of Kaiyuan passenger station,and promotes the development of comprehensive traffic pattern.
