Study On Business Environment Assessment Of China’s Maritime Container Ports

At present,more than two-thirds of the total volume of international trade is carried by sea transportation,sea container port is an important window of the country’s foreign trade,the development of the business environment of seaports is conducive to the smooth conduct of national or regional cross-border trade,to achieve the improvement of economic and trade levels between countries and regions.However,there are many factors influencing the business environment of maritime container ports,and most of the current studies on the business environment of ports are qualitative analyses.Therefore,based on the existing research,this thesis conducts a systematic evaluation study on the business environment of China’s sea container ports,to promote the continuous improvement of the business environment of China’s ports.This thesis first analyzes the overall business environment of China’s ports from three aspects: national policy,customs clearance environment,and intelligent construction of ports.Secondly,this thesis summarizes the distribution of China’s coastal ports,and through systematic cluster analysis method,8 major container ports are selected from 21 container shipping ports in China as the object of business environment evaluation,and the current situation of the business environment of 8 major shipping container ports is specifically analyzed.Then,on this basis,the influencing factors of the business environment of China’s maritime container ports are the customs clearance cost of container ports,the regulatory environment of container ports,the legal environment of container ports,the level of information construction of container ports,the level of service capacity of container ports and the level of economic and trade development of container port cities,and the evaluation index system is constructed by combining the analysis of influencing factors and the current situation,which includes 5 secondary indicators and 18 tertiary indicators.The evaluation index system is constructed,including 5 secondary indexes and 18 tertiary indexes,and the evaluation indexes are analyzed by the entropy value method and independence weight coefficient method to determine the weights of each index.Finally,the evaluation model is constructed based on the theory of evidential reasoning,and the statistical data of 8 container ports are used for empirical analysis,and the ranking of the business environment of China’s shipping container ports is obtained through the evaluation system of evidential reasoning.At the same time,further analysis of the research results can be derived from the advantages and disadvantages of the business environment of each port,which can help each port system target measures to improve the level of the port business environment,and provide scientific decision-making reference for the construction of China’s port business environment.
