Camellia chekiangoleosa Hu is a endemic woody that grows in the mountainous regions of southern China, and has important ornamental value and economic value. This stduy mainly analyzed the phenomenon of the natural regeneration of C.chekiangoleosa Hu.This kind of trees is based on Phyllostachys heterocycla,Pinus massoniana Lamb and Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.)Hook.And under the forest there is the regeneration stand of C.chekiangoleosa Hu.The canopy density is high, and the growth is restricted by other tall trees. As a result, the output of most of C.chekiangoleosa Hu is relatively low.In recent years, many forest farmers have spontaneously reformed the naturally regenerated C.chekiangoleosa Hu forests, resulting in lower forest productivity and more serious damage to forest appearance, and causing the low production of C.chekiangoleosa Hu and low incomes. In order to increase the yield and economic efficiency of C.chekiangoleosa Hu,the two bases in Badouqiu of Xiapu County and Baixiamu of Shouning County adopted the following transformation methods for the naturally renewed forest:1.Preserved C.chekiangoleosa Hu and cut all overstorey interlucationI,2.Preserved C.chekiangoleosa Hu and cut 70%overstorey(interlucation Ⅱ),3.Preserved C.chekiangoleosa Hu and cut 50%overstorey(interlucation Ⅲ),4.cut all overstorey and stumped the C.chekiangoleosa Hu.This stduy has carried on extensive investigation to these several kinds of transformation ways in two bases, and on this basis uses the organic fertilizer and the compound fertilizer to the transformed C.chekiangoleosa Hu.After investigating and studying the effects of different transformation methods and fertilization treatments on chekiangoleosa Hu,the following conclusions were drawn:1.Transverse cuts can significantly increase the growth of high and crown width of C.chekiangoleosa Hu,and " Transmitting Cutting I" has the most significant effect on the high growth of chekiangoleosa Hu at the bases of Baixianmu and Badouqiu, this transformation method was 70.5%and 76.4%higher than the control respectively. The " Transmitting Cutting III " has a better effect on the growth of C.chekiangoleosa Hu at the Baixianmu, which is 183%above the control. But the"Transmitting Cutting I" is the most significant increase in the crown width of C.chekiangoleosa Hu at the Badouqiu base, which was 115%higher than the control.2.The effect of "Transmitting Cutting I"on the production of C.chekiangoleosa Hu was the most obvious. The fruit production and oil production of the "Light Cutting I" at the base of the Baixianmu were 229kg/mu and 17.16kg/mu respectively, which was 305%and 1318%higher than that of the control group. The fruit production and oil production were 375.4kg/mu and 23.1kg/mu respectively,331%and536%higher than the control.3.All the modified treatment of C.chekiangoleosa Hu,the fresh seed rate, kernel rate, seed kernel oil content were all higher than the control. The percentage of fresh seeds(23.6%),out of kernels(14.16%),and oil content of seed kernels(55.6%)of the Baixianmu "Transmitting Cutting II" were the highest, which were 13.1%,9.95%,and 4.9%higher than the control respectively. At the base of the Bdouqiu, the most obvious result of the transformation of the "Light Cutting and Stumped "is the most obvious, the seed rate is 25.1%,the percentage of the seed is 13%,and the seed oil is 57.6%,which is 10.5%,4.5%,and 5.3%higher than the control,respectively.4.The survey found that the survival rate of the C.chekiangoleosa Hu was 81.3%after "transmission cut I and Stumped ".Among them, with one-third of Trunk survived, and it grew well, but the removal of all trunks would result in some C.chekiangoleosa Hu bark cracked and even died."Light Cutting and Stumped " plot and moso bamboo forest border the C.chekiangoleosa Hu is not due to the cut all the trunk bark cracks or death, that pervious to light cutting I and stumped processing there is a certain risk,in the future reform cannot one-time cut areas of the upper of the other wood, and to gradually cut, when stumped keep part of the main branch,to ensure the survival C.chekiangoleosa Hu of after dry.5.The fertilization treatment 1(375g of organic fertilizer and 375g of compound fertilizer)in the base of the Baixianmu is the most favorable for the increase of flowering.Ande the treatment 1 for flowering respectively 390%,140%,230%and 100%higher than the control. But in the base of the Badouqiu, treatment 5(187.5g of organic fertilizer and 562.5g of compound fertilizer)were the best for the promotion of the flowering, treatment 5 for flowering respectively 259%,133%,122%higher than that of control group.6.The correlation analysis showed that the environmental factors had a great influence on the growth and yield of the C.chekiangoleosa Hu.The yield of the C.chekiangoleosa Hu was significantly correlated with the light conditions, temperature and humidity, and the soil temperature and humidity. Therefore, changing the forest environment has a significant effect on increasing the yield of the C.chekiangoleosa Hu.7.According to the principal component analysis, the combination score of Light Cutting I and fertilization treatment 1 at the base of the Baxianmu base is the highest, and the combination score at the Badouqiu base Light Cutting I and fertilization treatment 3 is the highest. The principal component analysis results of the two bases all indicate that the Transmission Cutting I is the most significant effect of these transformations.
