| Objective: To study the application effect of batch production mode in large scale pig farm,and new acidifier,probiotics,minerals,new formula of traditional Chinese medicine were used to replace antibiotic drugs in batch production scale pig farm.The systematical effects of the mode on the performance,blood physiological and biochemical indexes and immune function of were observed in sows and piglets.The achienments willprovides a theoretical basis for popularizing batch production mode and applying alternative antibiotic additives to nutrition health of pigs.Experiment 1: Application of batch production mode in scale pig farm.Set up the application batch production mode as the test group,the continuous production mode as the control group,the production data of the two groups and the production data of five consecutive batches after batch production were obtained.The results showed that the mode of production is significantly correlated with the delivery status of sows(P <0.01).The delivery rate of the sow in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,and the abortion rate and mortality rate were lower than that of the control group.The number of total litter size and healthy litter size in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P <0.01),indicating that the overall production performance of sows in batch production mode is better than that in the continuous production mode.With the batch production cycle running,the delivery rate,litter size and total litter size of sows increased first and then decreased,and the number of total litter size in the fifth batch was significantly lower than that in the first batch(P <0.05),indicating that the reproductive performance of the sows in the batch production mode showed a downward trend and could not remain stable.Experiment 2: The effect of alternative antibiotic additives on the performance and blood index of sows.In order to investigate the effect of new acidulants,probiotics,minerals and new formulations of traditional Chinese medicine on the performance and blood parameters of sows,a total of 150 sows(30 days before delivery)with similar health conditions were divided into 5 groups for a 60-day trial.The formulation of blank control group(group Ⅰ),acidifier group(group Ⅱ),probiotics group(group Ⅲ),mineral group(group Ⅳ)and traditional Chinese medicine group(group Ⅴ).Production indicators of sows were recorded and the physiological and biochemical indexes on day 0 and day 60 were determined.The results of the feeding experiments as follows: For the impact of production performance,the average loss of fat in acidifier group was significantly higher than that of each experiment group(P <0.01).The age of weaning in probiotics group was significantly lower than the blank control group(P < 0.01).The interval of weaning-estrus days in mineral group was significantly lower than the blank control group(P < 0.05).The weaning litter weight in traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly higher than the blank control group(P<0.01),and the number of qualified litters in traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly higher than the blank control group(P <0.01).The findings indicated that the probiotics,mineral and traditional Chinese medicine formula can significantly improve the performance of sows.For the influence of blood physiological indexes,in addition to the MCHC,the other indicators of each experiment group had no significant difference(P >0.05).It shows that the four additives have no adverse effects on the body’s physiological indicators and a high safety.For the influence of serum biochemical indicators,the TCHO,CRE,and BUN content of the blank control group were not significantly different from those of the added test groups(P >0.05).Some indicators were different but fluctuated within the normal range,indicating that the four additives have no adverse effects on the the biochemical indicators.Experiment 3: The effect of alternative antibiotic additives on the performance and blood index of piglets.In order to evaluate the effect of new acidulants,probiotics and new formulations of traditional Chinese medicine on the performance and blood parameters of piglets,a total of 625 weaned piglets aged 28~30 days,with similar health conditions were divided into 5 groups for a 30-day trial.The formulation of blank control group(group A),acidifier group(group B),probiotics group(group C),traditional Chinese medicine group(group D)and positive control group(group E).Growth indicators of piglets were recorded and the physiological and biochemical indexes on day 0 and day 30 were determined.The results of the feeding experiments as follows: For the impact of production performance,there was no significant difference in initial average weight,final average weight and feed-to-meat ratio between the groups(P > 0.05),but the average weight gain of acidifier group was significantly higher than that in positive control group(P <0.01),the average daily weight gain of acidifier group was significantly higher than that in positive control group(P<0.05).The feed remuneration of each group decreased when compared with the blank control group.The findings showed that the three additives can maintain the health status of piglets and promoted their growth.The contents of MCHC,WBC,LY and PLT were not significantly different among the groups(P > 0.05).In addition to the ALP,the other indicators of each experiment group had no significant difference from the antibiotic group(P > 0.05),while the content of TG,TBIL,and ALP showed that the difference changes fluctuated within the normal range when compared with the blank group,indicating that there is no adverse effect on piglet body function.In conclusion,the batch production model could significantly improve the breeding capacity of sows,and improve the production efficiency of pig farms.However,it is necessary to use hormones reasonably and combine nutrition management to maintain high production performance of sows.And probiotics,new formula of traditional Chinese medicine and minerals can effectively improve the health status and production performance of sows.And new acidulants,probiotics and new formula of traditional Chinese medicine can replace antibiotics used in clinical production to enhance the immunity of piglets,relieve weaning stress and promoted the growth development of piglets. |
