Study On The Comprehensive Technical Standard Of Bougainvillea Spp.

This paper studies on the establishment of the comprehensive technical standard of Bougainvillea spp.,Which were used as seedlings and pots in south and southwest China.The purpose of study is to supplement the existing standards according to the requirements of science and Department of Science and Technology,State Forestry and Grassland Bureau,and provide a unified technical standard of Bougainvillea spp.for domestic enterprises.And it provides a reference for the compilation of other comprehensive standards of ornamental plants,and further completing China’s forestry standardization management.This study conducted on-the-spot investigation and interview with enterprises and institutions in the main production area of Bougainvillea spp.in China,and made a detailed record of the standardized production of Bougainvillea spp.,combined with questionnaire survey and experimental verification,the conclusion are as follows:1.Based on the investigation,a series of processes of garden seedlings and family potted production in the main production area of Bougainvillea spp.in China were mastered.The results showed that plant height,crown width and diameter of pot were the main indexes for quality classification.As container seedling in greenhouse or outside was the main method for production of Bougainvillea spp.,in seedling propagation and management,the hardwood cutting is the principal method.Cultivation management includes illumination,temperature,watering,fertilization and so on.Finally,its nursery production management system can be summarized into four categories,such as seedling suppliers.2.Through different platforms,two groups of Interviewees were investigated with a questionnaire about the family pot of Bougainvillea spp..It showed that there were differences in the selection of ornamental characters and product types between the two groups,but same in product specifications and maintenance habit.13 quality evaluation indexes of family pot including flower color,bract shape,flower amount,florescence,flower color degree,flower size,leaf color,leaf amount,leaf gloss,leaf size,branch number,tree shape,lignification degree of branches were screened out.In a word,for consumers,a qualified family pot of Bougainvillea spp.may have luxuriant branches and leaves,glossy leaves,regular tree shape,large amount of flowers when flowering,and long florescence,flower color best in red series with green leaves.It is suggested that the pot diameter and plant height should be controlled within 15 ～ 35 cm according to the product specification.In the form of products,in addition to small pots,they also like lollipop stumps and modeling stumps.In addition,the main maintenance habits that consumers expect to have in a family pot of Bougainvillea spp.are less pests and diseases etc.In terms of purchase time,they were willing to buy pots on weekdays and spring festival.3.The cutting propagation and fertilization management in the research contents were verified by two experiments: the cutting propagation in winter was better than that in summer in south China,and it was feasible to use softwood cutting in winter.Cuttings in the substance of peat + perlite(7:3)and treated by the concentration of600 mg·L-1 naphthalene acetic acid(NAA)solution for 30 minutes,can get a better rooting rate and quality.The results on fertilization management showed that high nitrogen fertilizer or organic fertilizer should be used to one-year-old seedlings.in period of growth,bury the concentration of 10g·L-1 composting peanut cake fertilizer into the substrate once a month,it could significantly promote growth index of seedling.Before full-bloom stage,it should be sprayed the leaves of seedlings with2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate once a week,could increase the number of flowers per branch and amount,and complete the florescence.
