Bougainvillea spectabilis Willa.also known as Bougainvillea L.,belong to Nyctaginaceae Bougainvillea,a vine-like shrub.Because of its own ornamental part--leafy bract,make it become the unique ornamental plant in the landscape.Here,we used the two varieties of Bougainvillea Bougainvillea xbuttiana Afterglow' and Bougainvillea spectabilis Willa.as experimental material,researched the growth characteristic of the two varieties of Bougainvillea and the changing situation of physical signs during the process of flowering;and under controlling water,the two varieties of Bougainvillea promoted the flowers grow and the changing situation of physical signs,explored the effect of physical signs on florescence effective.Our study will play an important role in providing theoretical basis and practice instruction for the flowering regulation of B.spectabilis in Fuzhou.First.The growth characteristic of the two varieties of Bougainvillea and the changing situation of physical signs during the process of flowering,the results showed that:during the process of their flower bud differentiation,the content of soluble sugar and sucrose in B.×buttiana 'Afterglow' leaves exceed in B.spectabilis Willa.,the content of sugar increased can beneficial to the formation of flower bud;the content of chlorophyll showed a rising trend with the development of flowers,the variation of content of chlorophyll in B.spectabilis Willa.leaves greater than in B.×buttiana 'Afterglow',the changes of the content of chlorophyll can beneficial to the formation of organic matter;the content of soluble protein of amplification in B.spectabilis Willa.leaves obvious greater than in B.xbuttiana 'Afterglow',the content of soluble protein risen can promote effect on flower bud formation;the content of MDA in the two varieties of Bougainvillea showed a rise trend,the growth changes in B.spectabilis Willa.under in B.×buttiana 'Afterglow',and its MDA content exceed in B.×buttiana 'Afterglow' with the development of flowers,indicated B.'xbuttiana 'Afterglow' has the stronger the ability of drought resistance than B.spectabilis Willa..Second.Controlling the moisture gradient,means the soil moisture content:T1:10%-20%;T2:20.1%-30%;T3:30.1%-40%;CK:?40.1%,researched the two varieties of Bougainvillea promoted the flowers grow and the changing situation of physical signs under controlling water,the results showed that:control of water treatment induced higher content of chlorophyll,soluble sugar,sucrose and starch in leaves compared with the control group,the treatment of control water played an important role on the promotion of content of MDA;and;had a significant impact on C/N,the C/N ratio in T1 treatment lowest.Besides,we explored the influence of water on flowering development of B.Spectabilis,and the result shows that there are significant differences in their effects on flowering process.The treatment of T1 and T3 led to prolong the blooming time of whole inflorescence,the T3 treatment led to the number of flowers in the two varieties of Bougainvillea Bougainvillea xbuttiana 'Afterglow' and Bougainvillea spectabilis Willa.up to 15.6±2.25,15.93±2.05.
