Functional agriculture is the third stage of agricultural development after high-yield agriculture and green agriculture, and it is an important technical measure to solve the problem of human "invisible hunger".The development of functional agriculture can not be separated from the study of soil functional elements. In recent years,Shanxi Province based on the advantages of resources is vigorously promoting the development of functional agriculture. However, the systematic study of soil functional elements in Shanxi Province was completed during the period of second soil census, which can not effectively guide the development of functional agriculture. This study was carried out to analyze the content of Cu,Zn,Ni,Fe,Mn,Ca and Se in soil and crop grains from three typical planting areas(wheat, corn and grain)in Shanxi Province, and further analyze the influence factors in the contents of functional elements in soil and crop grains. The results can provide theoretical support for the development of functional agriculture in Shanxi Province. The conclusions as follows:(1)Compared with the background values of soil elements in Shanxi Province and China, the corresponding values of 7 functional elements(Cu,Zn,Ni,Fe,Mn,Ca and Sei)in the surface layer of three typical planting areas in Shanxi Province increased by 1.28%~109.40% and 1.95% ~ 172.73%,respectively.The distribution characteristics of the seven functional elements were as follows: wheat growing area > corn growing area > millet growing area, and the distribution of available elements were as follows: maize growing area > wheat growing area > millet growing area.(2)The contents of seven functional elements in the grains of three typical planting areas in Shanxi Province were as follows: wheat > millet > corn. The highest element availability and enrichment coefficient were observed respectively in the elements of Se and Zn,and the lowest of those were showed in the element of Fe.The element availability and enrichment coefficient in three planting area showed that wheat planting area > millet planting area > corn planting area.(3)In the wheat planting area, the highest contents of total functional elements were showed in coarse-grained soil(calcareous coarse-grained soil)and the lowest of those were showed in cinnamon soil(pluvial calcareous cinnamon soil). In corn planting area, the highest and lowest functional elements contents were observed in stony soil(calcareous soil)and brown soil, respectively. The highest content of functional elements were showed in cinnamon soil(loess cinnamon soil)and the lowest of those were showed in aeolian sandy soil in millet planting area. The content of functional elements increased with the decrease of p H and the increase of organic matter in soil. The highest effective contents of functional elements were showed in stony soil(sandy and argillaceous neutral stony soil)and the lowest content of those in coarse-grained soil(calcareous and coarse-grained soil)in the wheat planting area.;In the corn and millet planting area, the highest effective contents were observed in coarse-grained soil(siliceous neutral coarse-grained soil)and the lowest contents were showed in aeolian soil. The effects of p H and organic matter on effective functional elements were not obvious.
