Experimental Study On External Fixation For Canine Pelvic Facture

The most commonly used method in the treatment of animal pelvic fractures is internal fixation,but there are shortcomings in the treatment of internal fixation,which requires complete anatomical reduction of the fracture site,long operation time,large surgical wound and long recovery time.External fixation in the treatment of canine pelvic fractures is exactly the opposite to internal fixation,with more advantages.With the development of medical technology,the research on external fixation is increasing.These are the prerequisites for the emergence of external fixation treatment,but this treatment has not been widely known.In this paper,comparative experiments were carried out to study the effect of new and old methods on canine pelvic fractures.Finally,it is concluded that the external fixation method is more feasible and advantageous.There were 12 experimental dogs,6 in the experimental group and 6 in the control group.Artificially made canine pelvic fracture.The control group was treated with traditional internal fixation,and the experimental group was treated with external fixation.In this paper,the use of old and new surgical methods,comparative experiments,from theory to practice,support external fixation treatment.During the operation of dog pelvic fracture using two methods,the following aspects need to be recorded : treatment method,wound size,operation time,recovery time,fracture healing process,postoperative infection,blood routine test.The results showed that the experimental group(20 minutes)was much lower than the control group(60 minutes);the blood routine test data shows that the experimental group almost no inflammation;x-ray showed that the postoperative recovery time was short and the wound healing was fast after the treatment with external fixation.In this study,the external fixation method was used.Compared with the traditional operation method,it had advantages in operation time,safety and convenience.Moreover,it had less bleeding and faster recovery,and the dogs could walk normally after operation.
