| In this paper,according to the influence of pig subsidy policy on the production efficiency of pigs with different feeding scales in the whole country and China’s main pig producing provinces,the status of total factor productivity of pigs before and after the implementation of the policy is analyzed,and the total factor productivity of pigs is further decomposed into technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency,scaleefficiency and technical progress index.Compare the changes of production efficiency in the two periods before and after the implementation of subsidy policy,and analyze the causes of the changes.Then,using the method of double difference,this paper analyzes the influence of subsidy policy for pigs transferred to big counties on the production efficiency of large-scale pigs and the influence of standardized farm subsidy policy on the scale efficiency of large-scale pigs.From the comparison of the two periods before and after the implementation of the subsidy policy for pigs,on the whole,the total factor productivity of scattered pigs in China was 0.984 from 2001 to 2006 before the implementation of the subsidy policy,and 0.959 from 2008 to 2012.The decrease of technical productivity is mainly caused by the decrease of technical progress index,which is 1.2% and technical efficiency is 0.7%.Scale efficiency decreased by 0.5%,and pure technical efficiency decreased by 0.3%.The national production efficiency of small-scale live pigs has been improved compared with that before the implementation of subsidy policy,which is mainly caused by the improvement of technical progress index.The technical progress index increased by 1.5% after the implementation of subsidy policy,while the scale efficiency decreased by 0.5% compared with that before the implementation of subsidy policy.The decline of technical efficiency was mainly caused by the decline of scale efficiency and pure technical efficiency.The total factor production efficiency of medium-sized pigs decreased by 0.4%,and the technical progress index increased by 1.4% compared with that after the implementation of subsidy policy,but the technical efficiency decreased compared with that before the implementation of subsidy policy.The total factor production efficiency of large-scale pigs has been improved,and the technical efficiency of large-scale pigs is mainly caused by the improvement of technical efficiency by3.4%,which is mainly caused by scale efficiency and pure technical efficiency.Using did model,this paper compares and analyzes the changes of pig production efficiency in major pig producing provinces and different breeding scales in China before and after the implementation of the subsidy policy for transferring pigs to big counties.it is found that the subsidy policy for pigs from 2002 to 2012 can promote large-scale pig farmers,and this conjecture is verified by robustness test.The changes of scale efficiency of pigs in major pig producing provinces and different breeding scales in China before and after the implementation of pig subsidy policy were compared.It was found that the standardized pig farm subsidy policy from 2002 to 2012 could promote large-scale pig farmers,and this conjecture was verifieby robustness test. |
