| How to achieve sustainable agricultural development is a major challenge faced by most developing countries.In the context of rural China,the extensive agricultural production mode characterized by high input,high emissions and high consumption has caused serious problems of agricultural non-point source pollution,which has greatly limited the sustainable development of agriculture.As an effective precision fertilization technology,soil testing and formula fertilization technology(STFFT)is a mature technology demonstrated by long-term experiments.It has the characteristics of improving fertilizer utilization efficiency and helps reduce the ecological threat posed by agricultural non-point source pollution.More importantly,fertilization technology training can improve the efficiency of STFFT information transmission,change farmers’ cognition level on the scientificity,reliability and efficiency improvement of STFFT,which may affect farmers’ adoption of STFFT.To this end,most areas have carried out fertilization technology training programs,but there are also problems such as the disconnection between training content and actual needs,and the lack of enthusiasm of farmers to participate in agricultural technology training,which seriously affects the effect of fertilization technology training.Based on the above analysis,this study is guided by human capital theory and farmer behavior theory,and takes specialized apple growers as the research object.Based on the characteristics of both supply and demand sides of fertilization technology training,this study explains the impact of fertilization technology training on the adoption of STFFT.And further analyze the influence mechanism of fertilization technology training on the adoption of STFFT.On the basis of tracking relevant research literature at home and abroad,this study analyzes the impact of fertilization technology training on the adoption of STFFT and its mechanism with the help of research methods based on theoretical analysis.The micro-survey data of households was used to explain the influence of fertilization technology training participation,training content characteristics,post-training guidance method characteristics,and land management scale characteristics on the adoption of STFFT.Influence mechanism of technical training on the adoption of STFFT.The following are the main conclusions of this study:(1)Fertilization technology training can significantly promote the development of apple growers to adopt STFFT at the 1% confidence level.Compared with apple growers who did not participate in fertilization technology training,participating in fertilization technology training helped apple growers to increase the probability of adopting STFFT by256.09%.Further analysis found that participating in fertilization technology training in2014 and later can significantly promote the adoption of STFFT by apple growers,but participating in fertilization technology training in 2013 and before has no significant impact on the adoption of STFFT,indicating that the fertilization technology training has a strong timeliness feature.(1)The characteristics of the content of fertilization technology training and the characteristics of guidance methods in the later period of fertilization technology training significantly affect the adoption of STFFT by apple growers,the larger the family land management scale,at the 5% confidence level,significantly promotes the positive effect of fertilization technology training on the adoption of STFFT by apple growers.From the perspective of the characteristics of the suppliers of fertilization technology training,the easy-to-understand content of fertilization technology training can significantly promote apple growers to adopt STFFT.At the same time,the on-site guidance service provided by agricultural technicians has helped to significantly promote the adoption of STFFT by apple growers.From the perspective of the demand-side characteristics of fertilization technology training,compared with small farmers,fertilization technology training has a more significant impact on the adoption of STFFT by large-scale farmers.(2)Fertilization technology training Changes the traditional fertilization concept and cognition of apple growers,affects the willingness of apple growers to adopt new agricultural technologies,and promotes apple growers to adopt fertilization technology training.Specifically,fertilization technology training significantly improved apple growers’ cognition of STFFT at a 1% confidence level,while apple growers’ higher awareness of STFFT was at a 5% confidence level at the horizontal level,it significantly promotes farmers to adopt STFFT,and apple growers’ cognition of STFFT is the mediating variable of the effect of fertilization technology training on apple growers’ adoption of STFFT.Similarly,training in fertilization techniques significantly promotes apple growers’ willingness to adopt STFFT at a 1% confidence level,while a higher level of apple growers’ willingness to adopt STFFT is significant at a 5% confidence level.Promoting apple growers to adopt STFFT,and apple growers’ willingness to adopt STFFT is the mediating variable of the effect of fertilization technology training on apple growers’ adoption of STFFT.Based on the above research conclusions,this research focuses on the implementation of professional farmer training programs,continuously improves farmers’ cognition level and willingness to adopt advanced agricultural production technology,and focuses on effectively solving practical problems in agricultural production,and improves the content and training of agricultural technology training in a targeted manner.Forming and building a complete post-training guidance service system for agricultural technology,realize effective interaction between agricultural technicians and farmers,establish and improve the incentive and restraint system for agricultural technology training projects,encourage excellent agricultural technicians to participate in agricultural technology training and promote the system of farmland property rights In terms of reform,activating the market for the circulation of agricultural land elements,and creating an effective market environment suitable for the popularization of new agricultural technologies,relevant policy optimization suggestions are put forward. |
