In recent years,with the upsurge of reform in the field of education,the state has successively issued a series of policies to support the reform of vocational education,and proposed to innovate teaching and promote the "classroom revolution",so as to cultivate high-skilled and innovative talents needed for the development of the new era.."Facility Vegetable Production Technology" is a compulsory course for modern horticulture majors in secondary vocational schools,and the improvement of its teaching effect is of great significance to the training quality of modern horticultural talents in secondary vocational schools.The project-based teaching method is a new teaching mode with students as the center and teachers as the leading.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce the project teaching method into the "Facility Vegetable Production Technology" classroom in secondary vocational schools,and conduct practical research.The paper firstly summarizes the research status of project-based teaching method at home and abroad by reviewing and sorting literature,and defines the concepts of project and project-based teaching method on this basis.Secondly,27 students in the practice class were surveyed through questionnaires,and the teachers who served as the course "Facility Vegetable Production Technology" were interviewed.It was found that:the students in the practice class had generally good learning interest and mastery of the"Facility Vegetable Production Technology" course.The degree of understanding of teaching methods is not high,but they are willing to accept new teaching methods;there are certain difficulties in developing project teaching methods in this course,and the requirements for teachers are also high.In view of the above teaching situation,based on the existing research,under the guidance of constructivism theory,pragmatism theory and collaborative learning theory,and based on the main characteristics of the project teaching method,the project teaching method is integrated into the "Vegetable Production Technology" of secondary vocational schools."In the course,the practical project teaching implementation process was determined,and three vocational professional course project teaching cases with the theme of "cucumber production and sales" were designed based on this.Taking the class 19 of a secondary vocational school in Lanzhou City as the practice object,the case teaching practice was carried out,and the effect of the case implementation was analyzed through the evaluation form,questionnaire and interview results.Through practice,it is found that the project teaching method can effectively improve the teaching effect of the "Facility Vegetable Production Technology" course,and can enhance the students’ comprehensive ability and improve the students’ interest in learning.
