Study On Production Efficiency And Influencing Factors Of Animal Husbandry In Jianghuai Watershed

Animal husbandry has become an important starting point for implementing the strategy of rural revitalization,an important pillar industry in rural areas and an effective way to increase farmers’ income.However,at present,my country’s animal husbandry is still facing prominent problems such as low development quality and efficiency,imperfect support and guarantee system,and weak ability to resist various risks.Among them,the high cost of breeding and production and low output efficiency have seriously affected my country Global market competitiveness of livestock products.Therefore,mastering the production efficiency of animal husbandry and further exploring the key factors affecting its efficiency are of great significance to improving the carrying capacity of animal husbandry in China,and have important reference value for the development of animal husbandry and policy formulation in my country at this stage.On the basis of expounding the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the production efficiency of animal husbandry,this paper takes the Jianghuai watershed as an example,through field investigation and data collation,firstly,it analyzes the development status of domestic and foreign animal husbandry and the development status of animal husbandry in the Jianghuai watershed area;secondly To evaluate the economic development of animal husbandry in the Jianghuai watershed area,and based on the data envelopment model,further measure the production efficiency of animal husbandry in the Jianghuai watershed area.Furthermore,based on the production efficiency data,the Tobit model was used to analyze the factors affecting the production efficiency of the regional animal husbandry.Finally,Combined with the actual research situation and the empirical results of the paper,countermeasures and suggestions to promote the high-quality and sustainable development of animal husbandry in the Jianghuai watershed region are put forward.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)In 2020,the technical efficiency of each region has reached the effective level of DEA in Hefei Municipal District,Changfeng County,Feixi County and Dingyuan County.0.8491,and the areas that have reached the scale effective level include Hefei Municipal District,Changfeng County,Feixi County and Dingyuan County.Among them,Chaohu City has the lowest scale efficiency,only0.8112.(2)In terms of comprehensive technical efficiency,from 2007 to 2020,the comprehensive technical efficiency of Dingyuan County showed a strong DEA level,and Lai’an County,Quanjiao County,Fengyang County and Chaohu City showed a comprehensive level of animal husbandry.The phenomenon of uneven technical efficiency,all these regions need to increase investment in livestock.(3)In terms of influencing factors,precipitation showed no significant effect.The proportion of animal husbandry output value and rural per capita disposable income had a positive and significant effect on the regional animal husbandry production efficiency,while the effective irrigation area had a significant impact on the regional animal husbandry production efficiency.Negative significant effect.Based on this,this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions: First,innovate the development model of animal husbandry and optimize the industrial structure of animal husbandry.Second,promote the application of advanced breeding technology to help improve the overall efficiency of animal husbandry.Third,attach importance to cooperation in animal husbandry and enhance the comprehensive management capacity of animal husbandry.
