Our country has always attached importance to the development of characteristic agriculture.Every year No.1 central document emphasizes the supporting policy for developing the characteristic agriculture industry.Zhejiang Province has also paid special attention to the development of characteristic agricultural industries,formulated special development plans and implemented provincial special funds.Cangnan County has a long history of raising laying ducks,and the laying duck industry plays an important role in the agricultural industry.Cangnan egg duck has a stock of about 465000,with an annual output of 500000,eliminating old ducks and providing about 25000 tons of fresh duck eggs,with an annual output value of about 100 million yuan.The development of egg duck industry in Cangnan county is of great significance in activating rural economy,improving farmers’ income and solving rural employment.In order to promote the development of Cangnan egg duck industry,under the guidance of macroeconomics such as industrial location theory,industrial layout and development theory,new economic geography theory and industrial ecology theory,this study uses agricultural sector economics theories such as agricultural industry market mechanism theory,farmers’ behavior theory and agricultural technology promotion theory,combined with domestic literature on the development of egg duck industry,And the relevant survey results,comprehensively using a variety of research methods such as investigation and analysis,literature analysis and SWOT analysis,this paper makes investigation,research and theoretical analysis on Cangnan egg duck industry.This paper studies the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of Cangnan egg duck industry in detail.The advantages faced by Cangnan egg duck industry are: regional conditions are located in the economically developed coastal areas,large-scale breeding has been formed,an experienced management team has been formed,the deep processing industry has been preliminarily developed,and the new e-commerce circulation has initially formed a scale;The disadvantages are: the organization of the farm is not high,there is no poultry slaughterhouse,the brand awareness and scientific and technological content of deep processing are not high,and the product circulation mainly depends on the traditional farmers’ market;The opportunities are: the governments of Zhejiang Province and Cangnan County attach great importance to the development of characteristic animal husbandry and have issued supporting policies.The continuous upgrading of social consumption structure provides a broad market for the further development of the industry,and the e-commerce platform of agricultural products is booming;The challenges are: the competition in domestic egg duck breeding technology is increasing,the entry of social industrial and commercial capital into the egg duck industry has subverted the traditional industrial competition pattern,the national protection mechanism for characteristic agricultural industry is not perfect,the industrial chain is still partial to breeding and light processing,and the added value of the industrial chain is not high.Under the guidance of agricultural economic management theory and combined with the current actual situation of Cangnan egg duck,this study puts forward some policy suggestions to promote the development of Cangnan egg duck industrial chain.First,we should do a good job in the development planning of egg duck industry,formulate an all-round technical training plan,improve the prevention and control ability of major animal diseases,crack the restrictive policies of environmental assessment and land management,and establish the egg duck industry association of the whole county.Second,we should plan and build poultry slaughterhouses,strengthen the management of supermarkets,issue animal product processing support policies,vigorously enhance the added value of the industrial chain,and solve the worries of sales for the breeding link;Third,we should bring egg duck products into the local brand "cangnongyipin",plan and build a live poultry trading market,support the construction of fresh distribution enterprises,establish a close relationship between egg duck industry and market,and ensure that industrial development is in line with social needs.In conclusion,this study systematically analyzes the current situation and existing problems of Cangnan egg duck industry,puts forward policy suggestions for industrial development,provides decision-making basis for the development of Cangnan egg duck industry,and has positive policy significance for the transformation,upgrading and sustainable and healthy development of Cangnan egg duck industry.
