| As pet business getting matured,the number of pets and pets’ survival years are increasing,and the wide-scale application of cardiac ultrasonography has facilitated the diagnosis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.The incidence of cat hypertrophic cardiomyopathy also showed growing trend year by year.In this study,100 cases of feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy were collected from a chain hospital in Beijing and Qingdao,China from January 2021 to December 2021,of which 36 were from Qingdao and 64 were from Beijing.Through medical history investigation and clinical examination,combined with imaging examination,laboratory examination,etc.,the cases are diagnosed and classified,and differentiated treatment is carried out for different disease courses.In this paper,the gender and breed of feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy were statistically analyzed,and the results showed that feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is associated with gender,breed and age.The risk for male cats is higher than that for female cats,accounting for 71%.Purebred cats have a higher risk of disease.Among them,British shorthair cats,Chinese pastoral cats,and American shorthair cats have a high prevalence,accounting for 79% of all diseased breeds.In addition,Sphinx cats,Ragdoll cats,Garfield cats are also high-morbidity breeds.Young cats aged 1-3 years are the age group with high incidence of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.Combined with the latest diagnosis and treatment concepts,the clinical diagnosis and treatment plan of feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy was systematically summarized,and the diagnosis and treatment process of typical cases were summarized to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in the future. |
