| The purpose of this experiment was to study the effects of sanguinarine on production performance,blood index and rumen function of dairy goats,and to provide scientific basis for the application of sanguinarine in dairy goat production.24 Xinong Saanen dairy goats with similar parity,lactation age,milk yield and body weight were randomly divided into 2groups with 12 goats in each group.Goats in the control group were fed a total mixed ration,and others in the sanguinarine group were fed the total mixed ration+400 mg/kg sanguinarine.The pre-feeding period was 10 days and the positive trial period was 42 days.This study includes 4 parts:1)Effects of sanguinarine on production performance and apparent digestibility of nutrients in dairy goats.The addition of sanguinarine to the diet of dairy goats significantly increased milk yield,neutral and acid detergent fiber digestibility(P<0.05),and extremely significantly increased4% Fat corrected milk and feed conversion efficiency(P<0.01).There was no significant effect on dry matter intake,dry matter,crude protein,crude fat and crude ash apparent digestibility(P>0.05).2)Effect of sanguinarine on milk quality of dairy goats.The addition of sanguinarine to the diet of dairy goats significantly increased the percentage of milk fat,butyrate,stearic acid,oleic acid and short chain fatty acid(P>0.05),extremely significantly increased the contents of lactoferrin,α-lactalbumin andβ-lactoglobulin(P<0.01),and decreased the number of somatic cells and the proportion of myristic acid in milk(P<0.01).It had no significant effect on the content of amino acids,other routine nutrients and the proportion of fatty acids in milk(P>0.05).3)Effect of sanguinarine on blood indexes of dairy goats.The addition of sanguinarine to the diet of dairy goats significantly increased the contents of leukocytes,interleukin-2 and immunoglobulin G(P<0.05),significantly increased the activity of glutathione peroxidase,total antioxidant capacity,neutrophils,interleukin-4 and immunoglobulin A contents(P<0.01),and significantly decreased the content of urea nitrogen(P<0.05).It significantly decreased the content of malondialdehyde(P<0.01),but had no significant effect on other serum biochemical,antioxidant and immune indexes(P>0.05).4)Effect of sanguinarine on rumen function of dairy goats.The supplementation of sanguinarine in the diet of dairy goats significantly increased the content of butyrate in rumen(P<0.05),had no significant effect on other rumen fermentation parameters(P>0.05),significantly changed the beta diversity of rumen microorganisms(P>0.05),and had no significant effect on alpha diversity indexes Ace,Chao,Shannon and Simpson(P>0.05).It had no significant effect on the relative abundance of rumen microorganisms at the phylum level(P>0.05),but significantly increased the relative abundance of Rikenellacese_RC9_gut_group and Christensenellaceae_R-7_group(P<0.05),and extremely significantly increased the Ruminococcaceae_NK4A214_group of rumen coccidiaceae(P<0.01)at the genus level.To sum up,under the conditions of this experiment,adding sanguinarine to dairy goat diet can enhance antioxidant and immune function,protect body health,improve rumen fermentation and microbial flora structure,and increase apparent digestibility of neutral and acid fibers.Improve milk yield and milk quality. |
