Research On The Influence Of Farmers’ Participation On The Construction Effect Of Agricultural Water Conservancy Facilities In Karst Areas

Agriculture is the foundation of social economy,and agricultural water conservancy,as the lifeblood of agriculture,plays a particularly important role in the development of my country’s rural economy.The karst area has sufficient water resources,but its special landform restricts the development of agriculture.Therefore,in order to promote the high-quality development of agriculture,it is particularly important to strengthen the construction of agricultural water conservancy facilities in the karst area.Based on the theory of public goods and the theory of participatory development,this paper studies the influence of farmers’ participation on the construction effect of agricultural water conservancy facilities,explores the relationship and influence mechanism between farmers’ participation behavior and the construction effect of agricultural water conservancy facilities,and tries to solve the effect of the construction of agricultural water conservancy facilities.The realization of middle peasant households’ participation in action.Based on the data of 6,714 sample farmer households obtained by the research team from December 2020 to March 2021 in 8 provinces in the Karst region of China,the current situation of agricultural water conservancy facilities and the status of farmer household participation were analyzed respectively.Analyze and summarize current problems.Secondly,the participation of farmers is divided into seven indicators in three dimensions: participation awareness,participation behavior,and willingness to participate.The entropy method is used to calculate the participation of farmers,and the Probit model and ordinary least squares are used to analyze farmers’ participation from subjective and objective aspects.The effect of degree on the construction effect of agricultural water conservancy facilities.And use propensity score matching(psm)and instrumental variable method to solve the existing endogeneity problem.In addition,in order to further explore the internal mechanism of farmers’ participation in strengthening the construction effect of agricultural water conservancy facilities,the mediating effect model was used to analyze and verify the mediating effect,and the hierarchical regression analysis was used to analyze and verify the moderating effect.Through the above analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The current agricultural water conservancy facilities have made great achievements,but there are still insufficient rural drinking water security guarantee capabilities,insufficient agricultural drought resistance and harvesting capacity,and emphasis on construction and neglect management;(2)Through calculation It is concluded that the average farmer’s participation in the karst area is 0.86,the overall enthusiasm is not enough,and the farmer’s awareness and recognition of agricultural water conservancy facilities need to be improved;(3)empirical analysis shows that the farmer’s participation has a significant effect on the construction of agricultural water conservancy facilities.(4)The mediation effect model analysis shows that staffing and maintenance(repair)time can improve the participation of farmers and promote the construction of agricultural water conservancy facilities.The verification of the adjustment effect shows that a good neighborhood relationship can drive the participation of farmers and thus improve the construction effect of agricultural water conservancy facilities;(5)Finally,put forward suggestions to promote farmers’ participation in the construction of agricultural water conservancy facilities: give full play to the leading role of the government,improve the comprehensive performance of farmers quality,increase publicity efforts,enhance the enthusiasm of farmers to participate,build a mechanism for farmers to express their needs,guide farmers to participate in the construction of agricultural water conservancy facilities,and further enhance the scientific and democratic nature of construction,in order to improve the construction level of agricultural water conservancy facilities and provide sustainable development.Evidence support.
