Since Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire(emerald ash borer,EAB)invaded to Xinjiang in 2017,and it has caused devastating damage to Fraxinus spp.plants in Urumqi,Changji,Yili and other places and will spread continuously.The invasion of EAB will threaten the urban ecological civilization construction and biosafety of Xinjiang.As EAB is damaged as trunk borer at larvae stage which is hide in barks,so the monitor and control of EAB adults is one of the most effective methods to the EAB management.The point of this study was the taxis of EAB adults,the attracting effect of the volatiles and the sensitive wavelengths of EAB adults were determined and the attract traps was further optimized.The results are as follows:1.The spawned,mated and virgin females and mated and virgin males could be attracted by the stoste of YC,FZC,QYQ,and the attractive of YC stoste was the best to the males and the FZC stoste was the best stoste attractant to the females.The attractant effect of EAB was significant difference between different concentration gradient.YC and QYQ could attract males at 10μg/μL and FZC could attract females at 0.1μg/μL significantly.Subsequently,the best attractant and the best compound reagent B were compared,and the results showed that the YC stoste had the best effect,and the number of trapped EAB adults increased with the YC concentration.2.The response rate of EAB adults on different wavelength is significantly,the sequence was 530 nm>420 nm>590 nm>490 nm>650 nm>mixed light.EAB males preferred green light and females preferred purple.At the meantime,the response rate of EAB adults was increased with increasing light intensity.When 1 m L of YC stoste was combined with green and yellow-green sticky traps in field,the number of trapped EAB adults was much more than sticky traps only,and the number of trapped EAB was 5.27±0.41per 3d and 3.94±0.30 per 3d,respectively.Meanwhile,the attractant effect was decreased with the increasing of dose of attractant.3.The yellowish-green sticky traps and most effective attractant YC were make up as the EAB tarp,and the best material of release bottle,hanging height,hanging direction and hanging density were determined to ensure the best hanging method of the EAB traps.The results shows that the number of trapped EAB adults attracted by soft ceramics bottle was higher than others.Meanwhile,the number of trapped EAB adults increased with the hanging height,the number of trapped EAB traps hang in sunny side was significantly higher than that of semi-sunny and shady side,and the density of 8 and 10 traps in 667 m~2were much more than other densities.In order to ensure the monitoring efficiency of the EAB traps,the soft ceramics bottle should be used in these EAB traps,and these traps should be hang on the sunny side of upper and middle canopy,and the optimum hanging density was 8 traps in 667 m~2.These EAB traps could be used to monitor the emergence of EAB adults which will provide technical support to the chemical control of EAB.
