| In the development of agricultural production, the promotion and application of water and fertilizer integration technology has become an important part of China’s rural areas to achieve green and harmonious development of the ecological environment.Water and fertiliser integration technology can improve the stability of agricultural ecosystems and increase the benefits of vegetable crops in agricultural facilities while saving the amount of water and fertiliser and other resources used.22 The State Council’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs document points out that it is necessary to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture to smart agriculture, focus on promoting the development and application of advanced agricultural technologies such as water and fertiliser integration, build standard fields for efficient water-saving irrigation agriculture and co-ordinate the planning of new resource-saving modern agriculture construction. The No.1 document of the Central Government in 2023 pointed out that the promotion and application of agricultural input reduction and efficiency technologies should be accelerated and water and fertilizer integration should be promoted......Establish a sound waste collection and utilization treatment system. Therefore, this paper studies how to improve the willingness of facility vegetable growers to adopt water and fertilizer integration technology as a means to improve the utilization rate of water and fertilizer in order to meet the needs of farmers to increase their income and green development.Through literature research, this paper compares the vegetable industry, water and fertiliser integration technology and the factors influencing farmers’ adoption of the technology, and identifies the theory of farmers’ technology acceptance and the theory of technology diffusion as the theoretical support for this paper.Through questionnaires and field visits,311 vegetable farmers in Huangdian and Dutang towns of Dingtao District were surveyed to analyse the current situation of vegetable cultivation and the demonstration and promotion of water-fertiliser integration technology in Dingtao District, and descriptive statistical analysis was conducted on the individual characteristics of the farmers and their willingness to adopt the technology using the survey data.Based on previous research and the current situation of farmers’ adoption of integrated water and fertilizer technology, the independent variables of farmers’ management characteristics, psychological awareness, policy support and cost factors were identified, and the dependent variables of farmers’ willingness to adopt water and fertilizer integration technology were identified, and a multivariate ordered regression model and an ISM model were constructed. The results of the econometric analysis showed that: firstly, the multiple ordered regression analysis showed that the factors that had a significant influence on the adoption of integrated water-fertiliser technology by vegetable farmers in facilities included seven factors such as farmers’ education level, household income, whether they joined a cooperative, perceived usefulness, social network, social norms and policy support;secondly, the results of the ISM model analysis showed that, among the seven factors that passed the significance test, the The direct factors at the surface level are perceived usefulness and social norms;the factors at the middle level include whether or not to join a cooperative, social network, and household income;and growers’ education level and policy support are the deep-level factors that affect the adoption of integrated water and fertilizer technology by facility vegetable growers.Based on the results of the empirical analysis, this paper puts forward suggestions to promote water-fertilizer integration technology from four aspects:(1)broaden information channels to improve the application of water-fertilizer integration technology;(2)strengthen farmers’ exchange and cooperation to improve farmers’ knowledge of water-fertilizer integration technology;(3)accelerate the construction of vegetable professional cooperatives to promote water-fertilizer integration technology propaganda;(4)improve the policy subsidy system for water-fertilizer integration technology. |
