Study On The Growth And Development Characteristics And Quality Characteristics Of Baimi 10 New Pumpkin Variety

This study material selected a new variety of Baimi No.10 pumpkin,and tested it was determined that Baimi No.10 was suitable for the cultivation area in Henan and Huanghuai.In order to further clarify the adaptability of Baimi No.10,multi-point tests were carried out in the experimental demonstration base cooperation units of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences,Zhengzhou Vegetable Research Institute,Henan Agricultural Vocational College,Henan Yuyi Seed Industry Science and Technology Development Co.,Ltd.,Henan Qingfa Seed Industry Co.,Ltd.and other units,and carried out regional testing of Set an area suitable for planting.At the same time,the product ratio test was carried out to determine the excellent characteristics of Baimi No.10 in terms of yield,quality and disease resistance.And the new pumpkin variety Baimi No.10 was evaluated for quality,field production measurement,and disease resistance.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Baimi No.10 is a precocious variety,with both tender melon and old ripe melon.The first female flower has a low position and can sit on melons continuously.The leaf nodes are short,the plant size is small,the field performance is strong,and it has strong hybrid advantages and high yield potential.The fruit is dumbbell-shaped,small melon,old ripe melon orange-brown,melon meat orange-yellow,high sweetness,delicate texture,excellent comprehensive quality.The output is more than 3500 kg to 3,900 kg.Field cultivation can be seeded in mid-to-late March and planted in early-to-mo mid-April.2.Baimi No.10 has a very significant effect on increasing the yield compared with the control varieties of yellow wolf and Xing vegetable honey.According to the results of expert production measurement in 2022,the average output of yellow wolf and Xing vegetable big fruit honey pumpkin is2506.13 kg/667 m2 and 3095.91 kg/667 m2 respectively,and the output of Baimi No.10 is 3578.87 kg/667m2,which is 3 more than that of yellow wolf.8.00%,which is a 15.71% increase in production than that of large fruits and honey.3.Baimi No.10 is very rich in nutrition.It is not only rich in protein,carbohydrates,amino acids,vitamin C,β-carotene,but also rich in a variety of essential trace elements.Stir-fried melon is fragrant,lubricating and palatable;the old ripe melon sweet noodles are delicate and silky,and the comprehensive quality is excellent.4.Baimi No.10 is highly resistant to powdery mildew,downy mildew and viral diseases.5.Baimi No.10 is precocious,seize the market opportunity and the gap period,high net vegetable rate,small and medium-sized melon type.It has broad application prospects in Henan and Huanghuai River Basin.
